RBKL is correct. Congratulations.  I am assuming that the Veranda does say expired and you only have one other bid for the Aqua.

this is what has been reported.  Circle back and let us know.

Once they accept your bid, you cannot change or cancel it.

    enjoy.

Yes see below. This is how it has been since Friday. No charge on cc or email notifications of being accepted. I can not change my bids and if I click on my email to bid up. It says “my name” is not eligible for the program.

I will let you know if anything changes.

Two days before you cruise would be about the time that you would be officially notified that you did not win.

I would say that you did not bid high enough for the FV.

Do any of your bids say expired?  Can you still change your bid?

    Good luck.

HI I have bid on Veranda and Aquaclass the Veranda now says expired and I can not change any of my bids. What does this mean? I thought you should be able to change your bids up till 2 days before?

They set it up differently this time. Each user that registered had a unique URL. I just saved the URL. However the only time I have emailed about missing PUP points, they added them with no questions asked.

What email address did you contact please?

Our daughter had the kids drink package on our last cruise in late December on the Summit. A "milkshake" was in fact simply a virgin mudslide. It's good, but not really a milkshake.

I would just get a bowl of soft serve and a glass of milk from the buffet and make my own 🙂

But there’s clearly a strawberry milkshake in the photo on th kid’s package. That can’t be a virgin mudslide?  I’d be very disappointed if I’d paid for my kids drinks package and there was only Virgin mudslides.

  7. My partner and I are on fantasia in a few weeks time and noticed you went to Doha when sir bani yes island cancelled but I thought that Doha was on the itinerary anyway! Also grateful if you could give us any info on any excursions you thought were good, many thanks

Beamafar is right there are two itineraries.

We was on the Muscat one.

We stopped at Doha after Khasab and before Dubai. Muskat was on day two of our itinerary.

Excursions we thought was good was Dolphin at Khasab. The Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, Burj Khalifa Dubai.

We also booked independently a meal in the Burj al Arab which was special.

  8.

We usually prepay gratuities but there wasn't a facility to do that when we did the online booking or at least we did not see it.

Hi. If you phone MSC up you can pre book gratuities up to 5 days before your cruise.

We did and it cost £49 each and no service charge saving us quite a bit.

  9. Hi. Thank you for your review.

I was on the MSC with you. I am thinking of doing my own review of the same cruise.

While I do agree with you about the plastic plates in the buffet restaurant. We had some good meals in both the MDR and the Buffet. Especially the freshly cooked pizzas in the buffet restaurant.

I do agree about the service for drinks most of the time we went and ordered at the bar which we didn't find too much of a problem.

You can have eggs cooked to order for breakfast in the MDR. Whatever eggs you like. Don't know if you tried the Red Velvet restaurant for Breakfast and lunch.

Was you disappointed in not going to Sir Bani Yas island?

  10. From reading another forum it seems there was a serious petroleum fire yesterday on Sir Bani Yas island that caused MSC to cancel the day's port call there. The fire was on the island itself and not at the cruise resort.

We was on the ship they told us there was a broken pipe that passed the channel they use to navigate the ship to the island and because of this the port authorities had closed the channel so the port was cancelled and we went to Doha instead.

  11. We docked on Friday and it took us about 15mins at the most.

What I can tell you is it will take you quite a while to even get out of the docks at Dubai as it is massive.

    Hope this helps you.
