Can anyone advise about organised activities in SPB please.

Staying 2 days and overnight next summer and really want to experience Russian nightlife without the need for a visa.

Has anyone come across anything like a tour guide lead pub crawl or food tour?

Saw a ballet ticket but was very expensive.

Will be booking the daytime tour and some advertise "option for evening entertainment " not sure about this though and would really like to try some bars and restaurants

I have crossed the Bay of Biscay a couple of times and have bad memories. .admittedly many moons ago and on a much smaller ship.

Just checked the shipping forcast for westbound Atlantic crossing this week. Must say I am a little alarmed and a bit worried! Looks like we are in for a rough ride. Hope it doesn't put my family off cruising as it's our first trip.

I have bought too many long dresses and can't choose which to take so I am taking them all.

Blow it! We never usually get chance to dress up so I am going for it!

We have a boarding time of 14.30 but Ned to be out of the hotel by 12. Will have 2 over excited kids and 4 big suitcases so will just have to sit and wait.

Would it be wrong to open a bottle in the holding area?😂😂😂

If you decide to pay for corkage on your own bottles do you also pay the 15% service charge?

I had this which also resulted in severe arm pain and tennis elbow. Accupunctre helped followed by good sports physio and was all better in a few weeks.

We are having a slight problem regarding the hotel which has been booked (millenium )

Travel agent had assured us that she had contacted the hotel to request 1 double and 2 single beds in the room (we are foster carers to one of the children and due to obvious reasons cannot bed share) We booked on this proviso. It has now become apparent that thus is not possible. Will need to wait until Monday to talk to the agent and meanwhile worry that I will be spending the remainder of our holiday sleeping on the floor 😈

As a first time cruiser, please can you tell me how you would carry wine on board? Is A box of wine in the suitcase ok? I gave been told that cases are scanned and alcohol confiscated on other lines?

Is champagne ok in hand luggage?

Our accommodation choices are either hilton fashion district or millenium broadway. These are booked as part of a cruise and stay. Looking on trip advisor The Hilton sounds the best of the two??

Logistical plans need sorting tho as transfers are not included!

Your photos are great pepperrrm but the aftermath of the storm looks ominous. I have crossed the bay of biscay in a force 10 many years ago (1984) on the old Canberra and that was scary enough! Dear husband is worried about sea sickness.

Just a tentative enquiry as thinking of booking an 11 night trip on 15/12/16 Southampton to new York.

We have 2 children 18yo and 13....are we likely to find similar age groups on board?

Is the age range of passengers a good mix?

Is the disco any good?

I am aware that the inside swimming pool incurs an additional charge but is this still payable on a winter cruise when the outdoor ones are unusable?

Excited but a little worried about the unpredictable storms!
