  1. We were on last week and it was fabulous!  Service was outstanding so we didn’t even notice that there was a reduced capacity of the crew.  No wait for an omelette and didn’t realize the sandwich station or pasta bar weren’t on there.  I did notice the wonderful donuts and bread pudding!  Only wait we had was at Eden Cafe for lunch. We go again this weekend so I’ll see if anything has changed from the first sailing.

  2. I know there had been a thread before where you could post which crew members were on each ship.  I hope it’s ok to start a new one for the start up of sailing again. I know some of you may stay in touch with crew members (I have anyway) and I’m anxious to see who we know are returning and to which ship.  It could be updated as we start sailing and see those smiling faces again!

Besides Capt Kate, does anyone else know any other crew members who will be on the Edge?  I’m partial to Martini Bartenders and of course who the CD will be.

    Thanks!!

  3. Not sure I could write anything that could relay how awesome this ship is!!  We were RCI cruisers before trying the Equinox in July ‘17 with a back to back cruise.  It was unbelievable!  We have sailed on her 10 times since then.  The main thing is the crew!  They are unbelievable!  Love the Martini Bar and have made friends with many of the bartenders.  We have only sailed in Aqua or a suite so never went to the main dining room.  I’m sure it’s just as wonderful.  We love the restaurants you pay extra for as well.  The coffee shop with the pastries/desserts is great.  We just booked her again for August 8th.  Let me know if you have any more questions!  Enjoy!!

  4. I’ll have to kiss the bartender on the Edge in July and the bar on the Equinox in August!  We have a corner suite on Silhouette too at the end of September so hoping they aren’t still restricted to UK residents only by then.  You will LOVE your butler!!  My favorite perk was requesting lattes and almond croissants for breakfast and a great cheese/fruit plate in the afternoon.  Enjoy!!

  5. We’ve been on the Equinox 4 times this year already and we’re booked for our first suite in December on her. We ended moving our Alaskan cruise we had on the books to the Equinox for next July in a suite so we can experience the revolution. We’re going on the Edge next March and squeezing in a 4 day on the Infinity in November to get married in Key West! That will be our first on an M class. I vote as well to do both since you only live once!

  6. We did a B2B on the Equinox last July. It was our first with Celebrity. We were so hooked and LOVED the staff on Equinox. We’ve since been on her 3 times this year already, leave this weekend for #4 for the year. We’re also booked in December on her in our first Suite. They always remember our names even on different sailings.

  7. Enjoyed re-living the week with you. We were on this cruise as well. Was hoping to hear how Maarten was. We were sitting poolside for the Volleyball game and saw him get hit. He looked panicked as he ran for the pool bar. Wasn’t sure if he lost a tooth or split lip, etc. I didn’t see any blood. This was our 3rd sailing on the Equinox this year and we have two more to go in 2018. We love this ship and love the guys at the Martini Bar!

  8. Thank you for all that kindly answered. The whole point of my post initially was that I think that the website had been wrong for our TA when they posted their Memorial Day sale. The price seemed way to low for AQ so we jumped on it and paid the deposit. Later that day, the price was back in line with the Celebrity site.

I had never sailed Celebrity until we booked a back to back last July on the Equinox because of the perks that were included. I work for an airline and normally can get good last minute deals with those rates, but couldn't refuse the drink package and OBC. The crew of the ship won us over and we were hooked. We have since sailed 3 more times, leave tomorrow for another and have 5 others on the books.

We met a nice couple on the last night of our back to back, they asked what perks we racked up on with our TA for booking a B2B. We told them they gave us a $50 OBC for each week. They busted out laughing and told us who they used and highly recommended them. We've learned the hard way! We've always learned to book on board and take advantage of the OBC offered then as well. We are so excited to get to experience the Edge when we thought it would have been years before we could afford it. We weren't Celebrity nuts when the window first opened to book it.

    Thank you all (except one)!
