Does anyone know the name of the beach at the Holiday Beach Resort ?
-
All the OP asked was what brand bottled water Princess sold....
Thanks just wanted to know what the brand was LOL.
-
Can you get to the Lighthouse via the public bus? We are going to Palm Beach most of the day .
-
Thanks to all.:)

Does any one know what brand of bottled water they use?

Considering our Panama Canal cruise is November 20-30th, I hope your brother is mistaken.

Sorry I gave him the wrong ship name. The Island Princess is the ship that is going in to dry dock.

My brother works for Princess and states dry dock will be Nov26th to Nov30

I don't but... The standard balcony cabin is 231 square feet - including the balcony. The Caribe balcony cabins are 271 square fee - including the balcony. The additional square footage is on the balcony. The balcony is half covered and half uncovered so you have a choice as to being in the sun or not and nobody can look down on you on your balcony.
Thank you for the explanation!

Caribe 742 or 743. Both have an extra corner area providing you with even more balcony space!
Does that mean those 2 rooms are bigger AND have a bigger balcony (since that deck has bigger rooms than deck 11and 12)?
-
Does anybody have a picture of a Caribe balcony?
-
Trying to decide which balcony room to pick on the Caribbean Princess going to Southern Caribbean next May. I read somewhere that deck 10 has a 1/2 covered balcony. I was thinking of deck 14 mid aft. Is that a good place to be?

We were going to use Dyea Dave's tour on a mini bus to Emerald Lake in Skagway. Does anyone know if the road is very windy (my husband tends to get car sick) or are the turns pretty mellow?
-
We booked the Dyea Dave Tour as well. Is the road very windy? Would someone tend to get carsick?

We are on Princess wich dock would they use Thanks

Our boarding time is 1:00. Our car is dropping us off at 11:30. Will we be able to check in earlier? Is that just a suggested time?
Thanks. New to Princess.

Booked the inside and going on our first Princess cruise, thanks for all the help.
-
Thanks everyone, our 24th cruise and first one on Princess. Only 4 or so have been inside.
-
What ship?
Sorry Regal Princess
-
If we decide to choose an inside room, is one deck any better than another? We like to pick mid aft if we have a choice.

Having done a Canada/New England cruise, along with five cruises to Alaska, being 'trapped' on a balcony without a near-360° view of what's around me is less appealing than being up on deck.
As SoCal Cruiser put it: "...the question for me would be is having natural daylight and access to fresh air via an open door without leaving your cabin worth $50 per person, per day?". That's $700 - or a lot of hot chocolate, shore excursions (with lobster rolls), and souvenirs.
Personally, I'd opt for the Inside, shoot for one of the 'sideways insides' if they're available, and save the money for other things.
The only time I'd might use the balcony would be to 'quick-check' the weather while getting dressed in the morning, otherwise, if the itinerary is more port-intensive, you might get very little use out of it, weather dependent of course. That, and all of the onboard activities in the evening after you've departed port should keep you busy until it's time to retire for the evening in preparation for the next day's port of call.
:D
Thanks for your advice. What is different with the 'sideways inside' from the regular?

I am looking to book a cruise on the Regal Princess to New England and Canada from Oct. 3-10. Trying to decide between an inside room and a balcony. There is a $350 difference PP. Would we be able to use the balcony at that time of year? I haven't had an inside room in years. This is our first Princess Cruise.
