  1. My wife has needed wheelchair assistance in the past and may need it again.

So to reduce her pain she may appreciate Fast-track.

Ha ha, a tug, I had to use Mr Google and inferred that in this situation it meant luggage inspection by the customs.

Never mind the Pina Coladas, mine's UK real ale. Hic!

I went to their open day last Saturday. 12 excellent beers on tap.

  2. Many thanks all especially John Bull,

I had seen from the itinerary that the Breamar will not leave the Cruise terminal until the evening of the 6th January. So if we could not board on the 5th, one backup option is to overnight at a Bridgetown hotel ££ and board on the 6th.

Indeed we will not be on the Fred Olsen charter flight, hence the concern.

It's good to know that we may be able to go direct to the ship. It may be a bit of a walk with suitcases but I have been informed by Fred Olsen that a crew member will assist in getting the cases up the gangway.

There are charter aircrafts from UK (Gatwick & Manchester) to Barbados on 5th Jan 2017 and I will call tomorrow to find out their scheduled landing times at Grantley Adams airport.

I understand that one can pay for Fast Track arrival service at Grantley Adams airport https://www.viator.com/tours/Barbado...d30-6737BGIVIP that could fast track us through the arrival formalities.

I have been on an Internet chat today with one of Fred's people but they definitely could not let me know how we would fare, icon13.gif even after another employee phoned me, but said that they would phone me again tomorrow.

  3. I have tried phoning several numbers in Barbados but to no avail. My problem is that my flight on 5th January 2017 is scheduled to arrive at 15:30 at Grantley Adams airport and I will then travel to the Cruise terminal to board the Breamar cruise.

I would like to know what time the subject check in closes as I have been informed that it may be 17:00.

In that case I have a serious problem in getting to check in while it is open.

Please will someone let me have the information I need or the phone number of the Cruise terminal / check in.

  4. Thank you both for your replies.

I'll just have to wait until 6 to 8 weeks before our cruise before finding out about the tours that can be booked and how to find out their cost.

I'm hoping that my wife and I can avoid being limited to the Braemar tours offered and find some independent different tours such as the Half Tour of Historic Bridgetown shown here: http://www.skinnycarsontoursbb.com/ratesservices.htm
