We are going on the Rotterdam next month from Amsterdam, up the coast and fjords of Norway and above the Arctic Circle and over to stops in Iceland back to Amsterdam where we stay for the 2nd segment around the British Isles. Probably would have been easier to have looked up the title of the cruise. Never been on the Rotterdam before nor the 2 other couples going with us. So the question is: which bars ot lounges have pre dinner drink specials?

We will be doing our 1st Viking Ocean cruise in March 2020 and very excited. I see there are self service laundries but is there an option to have clothes cleaned ?
Thanks,

Thanks everyone!
We booked through HAL. The flight from Iceland that leaves at 1:00am would get into Copenhagen way too early to get into the hotel. So we have a room with 4 beds at a B&B near the airport in Iceland that has free shuttle service and breakfast. This will work out as we can shower, change clothes and get some sleep and be more "perky" when we arrive in Copenhagen. We have transfers from airport to hotel and hotel to ship so we will just relax and enjoy.

Thanks 2ptu/ooo I will check on that also.

jtl513, that is another thing I will check on. I am assumming that they will be checked all the way through. This is booked by HAL and our 2 day pre-cruise stay in Copenhagen. Of course I know: never assume. I have e-mailed our PCCthis morning.

Thanks everyone for your imput. Happily there is still time to figure all this out. I'm hoping that the flight to Copenhagen from Iceland is considered a continuation of the same trip so we won't have to get there 2 hours before the morning flight.

Thank you DMac1983 and bevfd,
We are going on the 18 day Viking Passage, Copenhagen to NYC as a happy retirement trip for my wife, sister and brother in law. I have been practicing retirement for a couple of years. We are flying from JFK to Copenhagen and have the lay over in Iceland. We will be back for 2 days as part of the cruise.

We are flying from JFK to Copenhagen with an 8 hour layover in Iceland. 11:40 pm to 8:30 am. Two questions: does anyone know how early we should check in for the 8:30 flight. Any recommendations on where we should stay? We are traveling with my sister and brother in law.

Just curious, was the menu all seafood or did they have some meat dishes. Thanks for taking the time to write a review and provide pictures.

I tried variations og my name but they were all taken. I am a life long Buffalo Bills fan so that works just dandy. My younger daughter who has never lived in Buffalo but was brought up correctly is in the picture with me.

Wonderful write up and pictures. Thanks so much. So many months to wait before we are on the Eurodam.

Great Dave! I can't wait until we do it next year. On the train to Virginia are you able to check your bags? We live in Silver Spring and I would love to take the train home.

It was great Dave. Thanks so much. We are greatly looking forward to that trip next August.

Really enjoying your review. My wife and I plus my sister and brothe in law will be doing this cruise next year so it is very exciting "going along with you!. " It will be my sister and BIL first cruise ever so it's extra exciting. Wife and I are living in Silver Spring but don't anticiapte any Snowmeggedon problems next August. Thanks again!

Hi Brazilgirl,
I chatted with you on the boards back in 2009 when you took the cruise to the Baltic on the Constellation and my wife and I took the same cruise shortly after. I was an ESOL teacher and told you a couple of stories about my little student from Brazil. Well I am retired now and my wife, also an ESOL teacher, will be retiring at the end of this coming school year so to celebrate we are taking the Eurodam on a TA from Copenhagen to NYC. I am enjoying your pictures and look forward to hearing more.

Enjoying your postings. Our next cruise isn't until the summer of 2014 so I have to cruise vicariously. Even though I taught ESOL for 38 years I am a terrible speller so hope it is correct. Couldn't get spell check to work.
