I like to stay in the Condado area. Ashford Ave has a strip of hotels (Marriott, La Concha) that are on the beach. Plenty of restaurants around too. And a short cab ride to the port!

The rainforest tour through Natural Wonders PR was awesome! It was my boyfriend and I and there were about 6 others in our group. Definitely not a big charter bus group. You stop for lunch and they will also take you to a waterslide made from a rock formation. There is an option to go to Luquillo beach after the rainforest as well.

I haven't done any tours for St.Maartin. Only have been to Orient beach. If you'd like to go to one of the beaches, I'd suggest skipping the beach excursion through the ship. Once you get off the ship there is a waiting area with various beach signs and local taxis waiting to take you there for way less money

East Island Excursions has great beach/snorkel trips. One is to Culebra to Flamenco Beach, it really is gorgeous there! If you want to go to the rainforest, I did a trip with Natural Wonders PR, they take smaller groups to areas of the rainforest the big tour companies don't go to so you avoid the long lines and huge crowds. Ask for Yamile as a guide! If you want something for adventurous, Kayaking Puerto Rico has a mini boat tour where you drive your own mini boats and stop at different snorkeling spots and a bit of beach time at palominito. Tons of fun and highly recommend!!

Has anyone stayed in St.Thomas for
New Years Eve? If so, any recommendations for events, where to see fireworks, dinner recommendations? I know Foxys on Jost is popular but would prefer to stay in St.Thomas.

St.John - I did the Xtreme tour with Adventure Antigua tour last year and it was one of my favorite things I did the entire cruise. I'm booked for the eco tour next month so I can let you know how that goes.
St. Lucia - check out Joys Adventure. A little bit of everything and overall a great time
Barbados - I also recommend Sail Calabaza :)

Yup! I filled out the form on their website and also emailed directly. I finally got a hold of them on their facebook page asking what day so hopefully I'll hear back again soon!

The zipline park in St Lucia has great reviews and I'm also debating doing that in December. I'm not sure if one of your ports is St.Thomas but I did zip lining there at Tree Limin and loved it!

St.Lucia - Joys Adventure tour was great! You do a little of everything (sulfur baths, waterfalls, sugar beach and a delicious lunch)
Antigua - check out Adventure Antigua. If you're up for a thrill ride do the Xtreme tour - tons of fun and one of the best tours I did on the cruise

Not a ton of kids, a good mix of young and old on onboard. For NYE instead of leaving St.Maarten to sail to the next island, the Captain actually arranged to anchor very close so we could watch the fireworks. There was a party on the outside deck. I had the same NYE cruise booked this year but recently changed it to a sailing one week earlier and saved $2K. Overall I think you would have a great time!!

You can easily get a taxi to the hotel from the airport and a taxi from the hotel to the cruise port. I usually stay in the Condado area in an AirBnb, there are tons of great options for both AirBnb and hotels. Check out Marriott Stellaris and La Concha for hotels. If you're interfered in an AirBnb let me know and I can give you the ones I stayed in.

Arrived in port at 8AM also. It doesn't take long to get off the ship and it's just a short walk to meet them.

The cruise out of San Juan was awesome! I did it last year and enjoyed it so much that I'm doing a similar one in December. The cruise port is a 15/20 minute drive from the airport. Depending on how long your vacation is, you can stay in San Juan pre or post cruise. There's a ton to explore in SJ - the rainforest, beautiful beaches, etc

I'm 28 and have been on Norwegian, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. For our age I would recommend Norwegian or RC. If you can, take a cruise out of San Juan, you'll hit more islands and spend less time at sea so more time for adventures :)

I was on the Epic 2 years ago and they didn't sell special items for the white party. I would bring with you - white tshirt/tank top works
