At the moment, there are good OBC offers given on bookings.
For a 12 day cruise in a balcony, they are giving $200 p/p. ($400 per cabin)
hi there thanks what is OBC

Aim for the start of the Scottish holidays there is that 2/3 week window before most of the other schools.
Looking at Glasgow earliest leave date that's 27June(Thurs) some it will be the Sat.
when do flights start to get expensive from Scottish airports, do check those further south.
For the Copenhagen options you have Euribia 7n Norway or Poesia 21n Iceland Greenland
Not a great selection, I would have more on the list if price conscious.
Southampton add Virtuosa 14n
BArcelona add World Europa and Seaview, Grandiosa
Can recommend a couple of extra days in Copenhagen Pick a hotel near the main station easy to get to from the airport and then to the ship.
OK just seen the latest.
Fjord, 60th that will narrow the choices even further if it is school hols and June
Only Euribia 30th June as its special that's YC £6k+
You can get a lot of cruise for that sort of money if you can be a little flexible
We aim for close enough if it saves a good amount or gets a better trip.
last year we moved my B'day cruise forward got back 2days before got a 20 day rather than 14 and a great YC deal on some of it.
This year we did the OH B'day cruise a week later 10days with 2n in Copenhagen much better pricing.
I am scottish and will be planning 30th June so yeah start of hols - its always a bit better price wise. We usually go from Edinburgh as its in itself is a 5 hour drive as we are so far north so to go from england is unrealistic but I take on your point.
Brilliant I wanted a couple of days in Copenhagen so thanks for the hotel tipWhat is YC?
Thanks for the help

Copenhagen is quite expensive if adding on time, great place easy cheap public transport.
MSC cruise options out of Copenhagen are a bit high for June.
indeed they are I am kinda fixed on date as its my hubbys 60th we want to be away for and want to go to Ffords hence trying to see if there is a cheaper time to book.

Also depends a bit where you are looking,
UK Ex Southampton mainly brits the schools are not out bu there is a 1/2 term to factor(ship full of kids)
USA kids finish a lot earlier
It was end of June when the scottish schools break up 😉 I wouldnt go from Southampton, hoping to go from Copenhagen

Impossible to say. And "June" is anyway complicated, early June cheap, late June expensive. Maybe. 2022 was very different compared to 2023 and 2024 certainly will be also. Best thing is to catch it when you like the price and just leave it when you never like the price. If you are very tight on the budget, look for another time of the year, November for example.
Thanks very much - stuck to school hols sadly!

That seems to be a sticking point with some who have tried the mainstream lines and then try MSC. They don't like how different the food is. If and when I try MSC I'll just have to go in with an open mind and expect some things to be different than what I'm used to.
This actually sounds AMAZING to me, despite the fact I'm an american. I find it annoying that you can't walk into a store anywhere without being greeted within the first five seconds. 😁Hi! What can I help you with today.😃 So annoying. Can't you just let me browse for a few minutes and then if I need help I'll ask you?! for goodness sake.
I am scottish and I LOVE the fact when we go to America shop staff are so friendly - this country they can be very miserable hahahaha

Hi there I am just about to book a trip in Puerto Vallarta and they said I need to book the Land time but I don't know what the difference is if the ship is docking at 8am - I presume that's ship time? I don't want to get it wrong.
ThanksJulie

We're gonna try. The tour operator said he never has any issues with cruise passengers being late. We will see.
Weare on the Miracle so about half the passengers as Panorama. I sure hope it all works out!
How did you get on with your Tender ? Getting your 11am tour?

Hello there
I was wondering if anyone had been on the RC tours? and maybe where I can get reviews? I normally go outwith the cruise line tours but they were all in Europe so a little bit more nervous. The Cabo ones look like what we need (to get off the ship in time) but none of them really appeal?
Thanks in advanceJulie

Hiya
I was thinking n upgrading to premium but wanted to know how many we are entitled to a day? Just thinking of our Day at Sea.
Thanks -

Oh actually can you upgrade on a certain day, like the At Sea Day? or would it be from that day on?

What do you want to find out? Cost? How to do it?
As julia said, you are unlikely to find it cheaper once on board (though miracles could happen :). I think the days of it being cheaper on board are long behind us, assuming that ever happened.
I personally have never seen it cheaper to purchase the package or to upgrade so have always done prior by calling Celebrity directly. When I've wanted to do beforehand I have not been able to see the upgrade option online (it would show full purchase only) but have read that it will appear nearer ones sail date, I chose not to wait. I have also received offers, like most do, for drink package 'sales' and have discovered they never applied to upgrade for my sailing though that could be hit or miss. At least if a sale happened after purchase, and before sail date, a quick call to Celebrity would fix that.
Editing to say alternatively as some others will say, since no difference in cost you could just wait and easily do the upgrade once on board. The only difference would be having a sticker on your room card to show you have it vs it being embedded if purchased prior.
🙂
Thank you..

When you board you can go to any bar and the bartender and they will be happy to do the upgrade. We often go to the bar we think we will frequent most an upgrade with one of the bartender at that bar. They do get a bonus for the upgrades they do, so you will make a friend.
Thanks so much, is it just the difference between the two which the upgrade will be ie $10 a day
