We will be arriving at 9:15 am on 7/11/16 at Frihamnen on the Disney Magic. We just want to walk in the city. Is there a shuttle from the port to the city center? What destination would be the best way to walk?

This is an excellent site, and I thank you for great information.

We are 10 in our group arriving in Orly on May 20, 2015. We were wondering if there is a van company that would take our 10 to our hotel in Paris.

Another poster mentioned Norway. I'm looking it up now, and it's beautiful over there!

We took the Celebrity Eclipse after 3 days in London. We had a fantastic 2-day stop in Iceland, Faroe Islands, and then Norway. Absolutely wonderful cruise. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

The Ferry is free. 1/2 hour across and 1/2 hour back to Manhattan. The absolute best view of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline. You also have a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge.

I like all of Sloop's stateroom suggestions, and will add

 

A proper dance floor that isn't the Atrium. It can be impossible to conduct business at Guest Relations when there are loud activities in the Atrium. The Rendezvous Lounge is sorely missed on the S class ships.

 

Bring back the T-pool. Or at least heat the Solarium pool, if not to bath temperature, but at least heated.

Cruisestich - I so agree with you on how wonderful it would be to have a Rendezvous lounge on the new ships. To have a dedicated place where we can actually dance would be so terrific.

We love the T-pool. Wouldn't that be a great addition.

We enjoy the S class ships, but for the Rendezvous Lounge and the T Pool, we just Love the M class ships.

On private group tours for our 2015 cruise, we have been asked to submit our credit card number in Spain and Florence. In the past, we have always just signed up and showed up that day and paid in cash. I can understand the "pros" to the tour companies, but I really would like to know what the "cons" are to me.

The Blue Lagoon suggests putting conditioner all through your hair before entering the water. I did that and it was fine after I washed it out.

After getting out of the Blue Lagoon, I used conditioner again during shower and again when we got back to the ship. No problem at all. Bathing suit was a different story - was washing silt? out of it even when we returned home.

Private shower was a great bonus after all the talk about open showers for everyone.

The wonderful part of this excursion was leaving the ship at 7:30 am and floating around at 8:15 am in a quiet uncrowded Blue Lagoon. When we were leaving, it was so crowded.

On the Eclipse, we took the Blue Lagoon excursion from Celebrity at 7:30 am. It was fantastic. We were enjoying the Blue Lagoon by 8:15 am. The crowds did not start until 9 am. What a great time we had.

FYI, there are private showers in the back. It was such a wonderful experience.

Sally is thinking about shopping for some clothes got get the latest in styles, would that be 5th Avenue?

If you do go downtown to the World Trade Center, Century is a terrific discount store just opposite the WTC, on Cortlandt Street between Church and Broadway. You can enter on Church Street.

With so many people having so much trouble getting Celebrity online, one person suggested using Google Chrome. I did that today and was able to get all work done and get my express pass completed.

I am still having trouble getting the excursions to come up properly, but I called the number Celebrity gave for online trouble and spoke to a person immediately and he was very helpful.

Thanks so much for getting back to me on this off topic. We have not been on the Eclipse yet. We usually go in Aqua but not this time sadly.

The Spa Veranda is on the absolute front forward of Deck 12. I don't remember this on any other Celebrity ship, but saw this on the deck plans for Eclipse.

Is the Spa Veranda just for Aqua Class or can anyone use it?

We were on deck 11 last year on the Millennium. It was simply terrific. Very quiet. So close to everything. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Enjoy!

Any specific problems with this cabin? it was a beautiful cabin
