  1. We have done both assigned and anytime dining.

I like the anytime much better. Personal preference.

Seems like the last cruise that the evening meal was the same wait staff and same table each night.

They anticipated our preferences after the first night.

I don't remember having to wait to be seated more than a few minutes one night.

    Enjoy your cruise.

  2. Taking our second trip on the Fantasy this September 19.

Looking forward to a nice relaxing cruise on an old friend!

Cruising with my wife, two adult daughters and my grandson.

Decided to try connecting OV rooms for the first time.

Caught up on all the posts since last September on here and ready to go.

  3. OK I am feeling like a newb for asking, but how does the OBC work in this case?

I have not made a final decision yet, was planning on checking the 7 day weather forecast leading up to departure, and had an understanding that I could probably either join in at the dock or take a cab for Pat and Diane's at the last minute?

I have a wife recovering from a knee replacement, and a 2 year old, so want to be flexible.

Honestly this is my 3rd time in the Bahamas and we would be just as happy to stay on the ship during port?

  4. Thanks for the response.

I probably will not bother with any bookings while onboard. Now that I am convinced in what I suspected, namely really not a better deal.

I am not much of an impulse shopper.

I am the guy that checks the site every day for 2 months to watch for the bottom of the price drops. In other words a cheapskate! :-)

    2 weeks countdown.

  5. Ok I have question for the cruising veterans.

When they offer the booking for future cruises while onboard, is it really a much better deal, or just hype?

I am going on Fantasy on the 26th with an eye on another cruise somewhere next year.

  6. Ok I have a question?

I really am not into the ports, but we are taking my very well behaved 2 year old grandson Sept 26th. I would be interested in a suitable beach that I can take him to for a short hour or two stay without a lot of travel in Nassau or Freeport.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

  7. I am booked in rooms OV U185 and Interior U187.

My question is i noticed that there is a hallway behind the Interior rooms where the little small rooms are accessed.

Do the large interior rooms and the OV rooms doors face each other/share the common hall? We are traveling with my daughter and grandson and hope that they are.

    Thanks

    J D

  8. Looking forward to sharing a cruise with 2 year old grandson in September.

Seeing and experiencing a cruise through his eyes will be a blast.

Also gives me an excuse to have more naps!!!!
