Short dry dock for engine tune up I believe.  It leaves again on November 10.

I filled out the form and didn’t hear back so called them.  The person I spoke to said that my credit had been posted on October 3, but I hadn’t sent in the form until November 1, so that was a different OBC.  She then said it wouldn’t show up until I was on the ship, which from what I am reading here, isn’t correct either.  Suggestions of what to do?

We’re on Insignia right now, and there are no games broadcast on board.  We check the scores online.  As to entertainment, it’s disappointing.  We have a ventriloquist for a few nights - nothing that makes me go - ooh, let’s go see that!  Fortunately, we’re happy with a couple of good books for entertainment.

Well, given that I posted on the Insignia page and said that I was cruising during the World Series, that is only one cruise and I didn’t realize I would horribly offend someone by not spelling it out.  It is the cruise that was supposed to be to Cuba and is now floating around the Caribbean.  I didn’t really expect it to be specially broadcast, just was wondering if it would be available on the televisions.

And as far as why would I book during the World Series if I care-  since this was supposed to be a cruise to Cuba, we booked this 15 months ago and had NO idea that the Nationals would be in the World Series.  I am not enough of a baseball fan to know that I booked exactly during the World Series, and if the Nats weren’t playing, I wouldn’t be watching now.

Looks like my Nationals are stunning us all by going to the World Series and the cruise leaves the day of game 2.  Will it be shown either on the in cabin TV or anywhere on the ship?

I see that there are complimentary yoga classes.  I want to try one, but have never been and not sure what to wear.  I don’t own leggings, etc. suggestions?

I have the exact same itinerary as the original poster, and also VERY disappointed to not be going to Cuba.  This is our first Oceania cruise.  My question is about the specialty restaurant reservations.  Are there nights that you don’t want to miss the MDR on this itinerary?  Is there a special dinner one night and if so, which night was it?  Thanks in advance 

I did think of looking for a different cruise that would work with our airline tickets.  But this was a Wednesday to Wednesday so I didn’t find any others.

Well, they didn’t offer us a 50% reduction- only 40% which is about what the revised itinerary normally costs.  It is an itinerary we wouldn’t have purchased and we have non refundable airline tickets.  While the cruise isn’t until October , the cancel date is rapidly approaching.  Hoping we know what excursions are being offered BEFORE the last cancellation date.  Don’t know whether to just eat the airline costs or go on the cruise.

We have never before cruised on Oceania and probably never will.  Our 3 port Cuba cruise now goes to other spots in the Caribbean and while they did reduce the price from what the Cuba cruise was, they didn’t reduce it enough considering what other cruise lines are doing or what the new ports are.  I was furious when I learned that new bookings are getting more on board credit than we are.  Tried to talk to Oceania and they refused to talk to me since I booked through a travel agent.  The travel agent said he couldn’t help.  This was the first time I booked other than through Costco travel.  If all this wasn’t bad enough, neither Oceania or the travel agent have ANY excursions available.  Maybe they will add some later, but we only have a few days left to cancel.

We will be going back to Costco travel and Celebrity!
