So loved this review! Only 52 more days 4/29/18 until we Escape!

I am in 9922 in three weeks. I will try to remember to take a picture of the 9920 balcony without looking weird :). I will come back and post it in this thread for you. There are NO pictures of the balcony on 9922 that I can find on the web either. So I will do a review with pictures after my cruise.

Hello wondering if you have any pictures of your room from the Escape? We will be in that same room 4/29/18- Also is the bed by the closet or the couch? Thank you in advance!:D

Deck 9 has the biggest balconies. Deck 12 is second biggest. I have cabin 9922 on my upcoming cruise. We chose deck 9 for the biggest balcony. Plus only down one level to the waterfront and bars.

So do you have pictures, and is the bed by the closet or balcony? We are booked in this room April 2018, when she comes to NY.

Oh Doug, what can I save that everyone else has already said. Your brilliant, witty, and someone everybody wants to hang with. We will be heading out on the Escape out of NYC April of 2018, yes its more than a year away. But we are hooked.

I am loving this review, we will be on the Escape in April of 2018 our of NY. We will be traveling with DH, DD and 5 year old grandson. Love reading about the Splash Academy. Sitting on the edge of my seat waiting on the rest of your review.

i reserved the shell on the ship. when i finally made it to the beach he told me there were only 2 left. sigh. i would never wait until on gsc to reserve a shell.

 

oh and for the record its first come first serve for the tender. one huge mess of a line. only saving grace is once you are in theater you should go up front for excursions.

Good to know will reserve when we get on the ship.

Hoping to be on the first tender since I have a 10:30 am reservation for the wave runners, will I have enough time to go reserve a clam shell and make it to the wave runners?

How was the weather on your cruise? We went through quite a storm on our cruise last year didn't we? :)

 

Barbara and I are celebrating our 45th Anniversary on this cruise coming up January 15th (less than two weeks away). We are in an Aft Facing Suite again!

 

I'm bringing some nice cigars with me on this cruise...Cohibas and Macanudos (Wish you could share them with me on this cruise!) :D

We just booked the Hilton Garden inn Ridgefield Park

70 Challenger Road, Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660

They do a park and ride to the Cruise port-for the price of parking at the port we also get a night in the hotel. I believe its about a $20 cab ride over to the city. Nice thing is we will be dropped right at the door and picked up.

Does anyone know about how much this would cost? Thank you in advance!

I don't remember seeing chocolate mousse on the menus, but I still need to post Cagney's, Le Bistro's, La Cucina's menus and pics. Stay tuned! [emoji3]
