Hi All, has anyone got any pictures of or have you experienced a Q4 Aft middle cabin - we have one booked for a 28 day cruise in June 2018.
Many thanks

COOL CRUISER- thank you so much for your comments. We have been in deck 4/5 aft and know that the balcony on aft Deck 8 will be smaller. The future cruise lady on board said that the new Penthouses would be lovely so that is why we thought we would have a change. Your review is very positive- many thanks

Hi Daisybell - when are you travelling in the Q4 aft - would love to see some pictures when you do. We don't get to experience ours until June 2018....

We'll be on and enjoying it all in four weeks :D

You may use the lounge whenever you wish. Coffees and teas are complementary, afternoon tea is served there and at 7pm they serve hot and cold canapés. On QE and QV the Concierge has a desk there. On QM2 there is a Concierge lounge where he/she works and there are also beverages and snacks available.
I like all of them, and while the Grills area on QE and QV are probably better placed, I actually prefer the QG restaurant and Grill's lounge in QM2.
Many thanks- my husband loves his coffee - a minimum of 8 a day..... is the coffee in the lounge barista style or percolated?

We are booked into an aft deck 8 cabin in June next year for 28 days and are very keen to see some pictures. The only hints I have found are in this youtube video at 9 mins 16 in.

Hi All, I am looking at going solo for 2 weeks while my husband spends some time with his son in Sweden in 2018. Glad to get this insights into solo life on Silversea.

Many thanks - with 32 days and 26 shore days its a bit to plan if we decide to do private tours the whole way and a lot to add in to the budget either way we go - so good to get an idea of what to put aside to ensure we get the best experiences possible. I asked my TA yesterday and she said that a similar cruise in 2017 of 28 days was US$3002/pp so that equates to your $110/day.
Thanks again.

DH and I are going on our first Oceania cruise in late April and chose the passport. I just didn't want to deal with handling shore excursions on our own and, it was a luxury for me, went with the ship's deal. Will it worrk for us? Maybe, but most are 1/2 day so we can have lunch or tour on our own for the rest of the day. FYI, I spent most of 2016 looking out/waiting on a close family member and her cancer diagnosis. Happy to say she's doing well, cancer free this year! We're spending a few days pre and post and I'm spending my time planning those days!
Wishing you a wonderful trip - look forward to some feedback on the passport.

I did those back when they were doing them. They were mostly basic bus tours. I think if you look over on the Regent Board for excursions, they will be identical to their unlimited free (not really but included) excursions you will have a better idea of what Oceania is doing. They share the same department at HQ
Thanks Kathy

We are off on the 32 day Nautica cruise 'Royal Rendezvous' in June 2018 and I am working out our budget. Can anyone give me approximate costs of the unlimited shore excursion passports for any Oceania cruise they may have recently been on. The last thread about this was in 2012 - so more current information would be appreciated. Was there a good choice of excursions and did you consider you got value for money?
Many thanks

Hi All,
Have just returned from 28 days in a new Q4 Aft Penthouse (8176). The room was very comfortable and well laid out with double sinks in the main bathroom and a single sink in the seperate toilet. Yes there were a few chair scrapes from the Lido Deck above during their morning setup. There was plenty of storage space, 2 tvs and a very comfortable sofa. I have included some pictures for those interested.
Would I rebook the same room - yes I would.
