We are new to this forum............have we posted in the wrong place? Nearly 100 people have read the thread without any reply; surely somebody has done this cruise and has an opinion?

Well, we have taken the plunge and booked our first ever cruise aboard the P&O Aurora in March from Sydney to San Fran Cisco via New Zealand, Samoa, Fiji and Hawaii. We have found the whole experience pretty painless up to now, with one exception. There are a bewildering array of shoreside excursions on offer and to choose from the descriptions would be based on little more than pot luck. If there are any others out there (and there must be many) who have done this cruise we would love to hear of your recommendations and experiences to try and help us decide.
