We were on the Grand Princess, didn’t get off the ship until 4 days after docking in Oakland and were sent to Miramar Marine base near San Diego to quarantine I still have anxiety when revisiting this cruise.
Still on the fence as to whether we will cruise again. Before we would consider cruising again, we need to see what the new normal will be. At a minimum, we will not cruise if masks and ship only excursions are required. If we decide to cruise we will try a short 7 day Caribbean cruise using the large amount of FCC we were given to see how it goes and only after there have been many many many months of successful cruising completed.

I would like to ask a question. I got cancelled off my March 22nd Grand Princess cruise. I'm concerned about my March 29th one. So I'm asking for input to someone who's got expertise in this stuff.
If the passengers are off by Thursday then the crew quarantines for 14 days, do you think it can still go?
Not going to happen

Fox News said we will dock at 3 pm. Not going to get many people off today if that is the case. And why do as passengers have to get this information from the media?

Coast Ranger here again. A tender was launched to meet but still waiting for permission to come alongside. At least 4 people dressed in hazmat on back of Coast Guard ship.

I know the first day they tested 46 people, and we know those results. I thought we heard that they returned the next day and did a further 45-40 tests ..... has anyone heard about those?
They did not return a second date so I believe the second group has not been tested.

I am on the Grand Princess now. Princess and the crew are doing everything they can but there is s lot of misinformation out there.
Yes we are provided with complimentary WIFi but with 3600 on the ship, it works off and on. Forget streaming anything. Cruise critic may or may not open.
We have been provided with access via phone to mental health services. Forget about it as you can’t get an outside line. We are too far from shore to access out cell plans. (If for no other reason that this, why can’t we move closer to shore.)
While the crew is fantastic, we (and they themselves) don’t know if they are positive. With 19 confirmed infected crew, chances are good that more are infected and they could be preparing and serving our meals.
All we have been told is there is no plan for us. We are cruising around and around with no end in sight.
They should bring us into port, quarantined everyone including crew, prepare meals offship and have them delivered by specialty trained personnel.
This is is just the beginning...,,,
