Thenford Grey was awesome - we were a group of 17 and had a van/bus with plenty of room. The day we were there was the funeral of the former prime minister of st. Kitts so he was dressed in a suit and tie out of respect. His knowledge about the island is incredible. Two of his children live in the states, we had plenty to talk about. All went to college here but one returned to the island. If you closed your eyes you’d swear you were listening to Morgan Freeman. He did a fantastic job.

Does anybody have any comments about a excursion called Caribbean Cooks on St Kitts. I’m just trying to figure out if it’s really worth it or if I should skip it. TIA.

I arrive in Fairbanks (about 2days) onto Denali (2 days) then via anchorage (couple hours) to Seward to board ship. We already have some activities scheduled with the pre cruise stops. But there is some free time in Fairbanks and Denali.

My second trip to Alaska takes place in August. the first trip our helicopter ride to land on a glacier was canceled due to the weather.

it is still on my bucket list.

I do not want to spend $500 to do this!

any recommendations for a $300 version would be great and whether from Juneau or from Denali. Name of company please. Thanks

I just did a nine day cruise and only did one excursion in Charleston which I booked on my own: palmettos carriage ride which was great. the cruise was wonderful
