  1. RCCL said $22.50 for two devices.

Apparently, you can get the package in advance (soon) for a 10% discount. It's already in the Cruise Planner for my cruise but is not yet bookable.

I just got off the Oasis yesterday. We bought the internet package on board the day of embarkation. The price was 15.00 a day for one device and 50% off the 2nd device for a total of $22.50 per day for 2 devices.

If you plan on going from 1 device to another device, ask them how to do it. We had to enter a LOGOFF code to be able to log in with a different device. Such as phone to Ipad or Ipad to phone.

  2. I love the mix they use, Zing Zang. If it was anything else I would pass, gone are they days of a bartender with the ability to make a decent bloody Mary with just tomato juice and spices. (Or at least that has been my experience) but, if you don't like it spicy you can order one with just tomato juice. One person in our party did that often. They are a little pricey, but the BLTBM is awesome. Something about that slice of bacon [emoji4]

I love the Zing Zang mix!!!! Best mix I Have tried...

  3. We are taking our family on our 1st family cruise this June. One daughter and SIL have 2 toddlers aged 3 and 1. She didn't want a balcony room for various reasons. So, we booked them 2 connecting OV rooms instead. It was actually cheaper than having 4 of them in a balcony room!!! This way there are 2 bathrooms and 2 double beds with room for the kids to play! We did request a pack and play....Mommy and Daddy can have time to relax in their own room while kids are sleeping in the other if that's what they choose to do! Also, because of others great ideas here on CC, I bought them a small inflatable type pool to use in the shower as their bathtub :)

  4. When we were in Key West Florida for a Vacation, our daughter and then 1 year old grandson flew in to see us. We called the taxi company and we were able to arrange for a taxi equipped with a car seat to pick them up. We have also used private car companies, many of which were limo companies which had private cars also that they would equip with car seats for us when needed. Just an option if you want to board early!!!

  5. Hi everyone-

I have never traveled with 3 toddlers ages 5, 3 and 1 before! But, I will be next year in June with ports in Nassau, St Thomas and St Maarten. Their parents will be along also but we are concerned that the 1 and 3 year old will not be in car seats for any vehicle travels...

Does anyone have any suggestions for excursions in those ports? Are there walking areas or what do you do?

  6. I took the time to read through the menus and I hope these are not complete. I do not see any entree salads nor a lot of beef or chicken dishes. I honestly think the choices are strange and I would like to see some simple food on these menus. My husband and I are not seafood eaters and the other choices seem scarce. This is rather disappointing to us since the main dining room has always been a highlight of my cruise experience.

It may be too soon to ask this question, but some in our family are very picky eaters. So, I am wondering if they would just be able to order a regular steak, burger or pasta dinner at these DD venues like you could do at MDR.....

Would anyone have that answer yet?!!! I am hoping that these restaurants would also have other options for guests who cannot or do not eat the type of food they offer, but would like to have dinner with friends and/or family members who wish to eat at a specific restaurant.

  7. Congratulations caneguy on a fantastic review with wonderful photos and such a warm writing style. I know and appreciate the effort and perseverence required to put such a review together. You covered so many things that I missed and I have thoroughly enjoyed following along.

As for favourite photo, for the same reason that I loved the one you posted some weeks ago, it is the one below - because it made me think, how did he get that shot?

That you so much for your wonderful review......I am taking my family on an Oasis family cruise next year. Every tidbit of information I can get is very helpful.

I am definitely following your post. S

  8. Does anyone have a photo of a forward outside view cabin? The one in the front of the ship facing forward? My sister booked that cabin thinking it was a big window, and she is kind of claustrophobic. the balcony cabin was too much money (she's sailing alone), so she thought that window would be okay. If anyone has a picture, it sure would be appreciated. Or, if you can just tell us if the window is bigger than a porthole???

    Thanks

Hi, I don't have a picture but I have seen one on a few other posts. I booked 2 connecting Forward OV rooms for my daughter and her family for an upcoming cruise. The windows are big, like floor to ceiling:) I booked them on the 7th floor and assume all the floors look the same!

    Hope that helps:)

  9. I read somewhere that if you look for connecting rooms near your room you should be able to figure it out. The rooms are left side and right side. so if your room is 4 doors down from the right side of 2 connecting rooms, you would then count left, right, left, right until you got to your room number. I believe the rooms which count out as right have the beds by the balcony. Rooms left have beds by the closet. That's how I chose my room so I hope its correct!!!:o
