  1. Thanks so much for your post and details, very helpful. I have two questions for you, one fairly subjective, the other more objective. The subjective question first...did the Horizon feel crowded to you? I ask because I sailed on the RCCL Oasis of The Seas a year ago and, yes, mega ship, great amenities, but unfortunately, too crowded. There were 30 minute plus lines for the buffet because there weren’t enough seats, crowds for every amenity, etc. Too many rooms stuffed to the gills and no corresponding extension in service areas. Never again, curious of your impressions of Horizon.

Second, your description of the Havana rooms sold me, but my adult kids will go and, all being younger enlisted military members, likely will not be able to afford a Havana room. If they are with me, do you know if they would be able to access the Havana areas? Just wondering. I would likely just book a balcony if they can’t come with us.

    Thanks again...Bill

  2. Having read so many great things about Courtney Taylor tours, I was excited and anticipated a fun, interesting day. What I received was just "okay". We had a driver (can't recall his name) and Samantha as our guide. Frankly, for most of the day we seemed to be more of an inconvenience to her. She took us to Columbus Park first. If your guide asks you if you would like to stop here, don't. It's a vulture pit of aggressive guys trying to push cheap junk off on you. Further, I had some guy try to shake me down because I took a picture of a marijuana plant growing wild...you would think the tour guide would know this was there and steer clear. It's not like it was some scenic location or something. The Blue Hole and Scotches were great, however. Overall, it was like hiring a taxi, not much chatter, not much interaction. Just...okay. I think if I ever go back Courtney Taylor will not be my first choice.
