It appears the best place to get something like this may be at the sunset bar or cafe.  I asked for it and this is what I received.   Although the waiter did say there were other options other places on the ship.  You can at least get this...

Oh that’s perfect thank you so much. You have been so kind and generous with your time for us soon to be cruisers. Congrats on being picked as a top trip report - so well deserved.

  2. What an amazing live thread. We are doing same itinerary in August so following with great interest. Your pictures are stunning and your reviews are hilarious. Just wondering if you have seem the lemon San Pellegrino soda on board (see picture below). I don’t enjoy alcohol or coke products so always on the lookout for what choices of soda or virgin cocktails are on board. Hopefully I can get Virgin strawberry daiquiris somewhere on the ship 🤣

    Thanks again

  3. Hi All,

Going on my first Celebrity cruise in August on the Constellation from Rome.

I don’t drink alcohol and don’t like coke so am wondering about what other soft drinks/sodas are available and also what mocktails/virgin drinks they have. I am hoping for virgin strawberry daiquiries and the lemon San Pellegrino sodas they sell in the UK 😜

    Thanks for any input.

  4. Hi Everyone and Happy New Year,

I am going on a Best of Italy and Croatia tour in August on Constellation.

I booked some great shore excursions in the Black Friday Sale at a reduced price but I now want to change a couple. I missed the pre Christmas sale 🥲 Does anyone know if they will do another sale soon? If not I will just book the new excursions at the current full price. Thanks

  5. Last night I booked a Med cruise but have realised today that I accidentally booked 26th Aug instead of 4th Aug!! I blame menopause brain fog and the weird blue/white boxes for selecting dates.  I could cry because I could only afford the cruise because of the offer that was on that finished last night! I can’t go on 26th as I am a teacher.  Do you think there is any chance they will let me change it and honour the original sale price? If not I have lost the £300 deposit and now won’t be able to go at all.                                      PS I have never sailed Celebrity before and doubt will ever have the chance again as so much more expensive than my normal lines (Princess, P&O, Royal Caribbean) 😢

  6. Please can someone explain how the arrival process works with the included flights. We arrive in Malta at 10.40sm on the day of out cruise.  Will we be boarded in an early group and, once checked in on board, can we then leave the ship for the afternoon and return later?

i am a regular cruiser but my Med cruise on Azura is first time on P&O and first time on a cruise that included a flight in price. Thanks in advance.

  7. I am cruising on The Azura in July from Valetta Malta. It’s my first P&O cruise and my first cruise with included flights.

My flight back is in the evening.  Can anyone explain the disembarkation process with included flights. Can we stay on the ship until the coach takes us to the airport?  We have the option of an excursion involving a day at a beach club  before flying back but would rather not pay for this if we can stay on the ship 🙂

  8. Hi All,

I am due to be going on Independence of the Seas on Tuesday (UK) on a 4 night cruise.  If we end up cancelling (and claiming back on insurance) or just being no shows (due to my father being hospitalised), will we be refunded on pre-paid drinks packages and the Key?  I don't want to cancel them by phone in case we do end up going but I also don't want to have to pay for them if we don't go and probably won't make final decision until Mon night.

    Thanks for any insight.

  9. Hi All,

I have a cabin for 3 booked on Independence of the Seas for  a 4 night crossing in a couple of weeks.  The 3rd person now cannot come (not a reason covered by insurance).  I know we can get back the taxes and that I can just tell them at the port that she is a no show but is there any benefit in ringing and cancelling in advance?

I already called to see if we could change cabins if we did cancel her and I was told the whole cruise is sold out.  The reason I wouldn't mind changing cabins is because we have a guaranteee balcony that is forward and I find there is less motion mid or aft.  Would you cancel the 3rd person in advance and hope that we might get moved to a balcony that is further back or just wait and cancel at the port?

  10. Hi All,

Last year, we cruised Southampton to the Med and found we got quite seasick crossing the Bay of Biscay even though it was August.  We have cruised many times and don't normally get sick.  Luckily it was a 14 day cruise so the 2 days we lost weren't the end of the world.  We are doing a 4 day cruise to Cork (south coast of Ireland) from Southampton and I am wondering whether it is likely to be rough crossing the Irish sea.   Would appreciate any views 🙂

  11. In July my family cruised in 2 staterooms (2 people in each) and I purchased 4 future cruise deposits for all of us. For my next cruise it will just be 3 of us in one stateroom and when I try to book the 3rd person their FCD doesn't show up because they weren't in the original stateroom (if that makes sense). When I did a search here on CC I noticed some posts about FCD only being allowed for guest 1 and 2. Is that still true? Really annoying if it is as my daughter's FCD can't be used unless she is in a different stateroom again.

  12. Yes as others have said not great. Overall total price of my cruise has gone down a bit (if I want a balcony) but amount it has gone down by is similar to amount of obc offered previously. Mini suites are same price with no obc and that is what I really wanted so I probably would have been better off by about £200 booking yesterday. I know there is a £100 per person change fee but I have future cruise deposits to use so I don’t think I will be able to make changes without losing the benefit of the obc anyway.

Oh well. You win some you lose some 😜

  13. The current UK offer of additional OBC runs out today. I am looking at booking a Norwejian Fjords cruise for next Aug and I seem to remember when I booked my first Princess cruise last Sept they had some good offers. Does anyone have any thoughts on whether the offer/price may be better during Sept or should I go ahead and book now for the extra OBC. I know nobody knows for sure but often offers follow the same sort of pattern. I know I can't just cancel and rebook when better offers come out as we are in UK :loudcry:
