  1. We are getting ready to cruise in 2 days and have a villa booked.... Only thing I would say is, if you sleep late, idk if I would want to pay that much for a villa if you're not going to use it until lunchtime or so..... I plan to be on first tender over and get an many hours as I can outta that thing cause it's not cheap!!!

That is so odd, so I looked into other posts and found where someone showed their bid page and it did only have blue!  I snapped screenshots of what I normally see, which has different colors along with the category (poor, fair, etc.). I have no idea why some are blue...anyone else have an idea?

I don't have that little meter either..... Nothing at all to show offer strength....Maybe because I'm using the mobile site? I'll try on a computer later and see....

While we wait with bated breath for Amy's report, another question - do you have to be in the Haven to book these Villas? I will say that these new villas helped compel me to book a cruise I was on the fence about.

We are on Aug 9 sailing on the Sun, in a sail away inside room, and we were able to book a villa

  4. We were a group of 3, ages 38, 47, and 67. The spring breakers didn't really bother us.... They did kind of overwhelm the pool deck and the outside bars. Their large groups probably made some of the restaurant service slower as well. But the ones we interacted with were really nice.

  5. A 52yo woman climbed over the rail from deck 16 down to deck 15 and then over the rail on 15 (I presume headed to 14) because of family issues? What, they told her she couldn't use the elevator?[/q

After going over the rail on 16, below that Deck 15 in that area is floor to ceiling glass with open slats, that could be used to climb down a bit...from the outside of the ship

  6. We were also on this cruise, and got onto Deck 15 just as people were still trying to hold onto her through slats in the glass, then she fell. We were told she climbed over on Deck 16, made her way down to 15, that's where she fell from. We didn't actually see her but were told she wasn't a spring breaker, that she was older than that.

  7. I am sure this has been discussed before, so forgive me, but when I searched I came up with so many things that weren't exactly what I needed and was hard to sort through! Anyway-- we chose an arrival time of 12:30-1 at Port Canaveral.... Now circumstances have changed and I wanted to change it to earlier, but when I logged in to do so, it wouldn't let me....i can only change it to later. So, if we arrive earlier than our selected time, are they going to turn us away? I know with RCI they don't really enforce the arrival times. Also, it says boarding starts at 12, so really no matter what time we arrive, we can't expect to board any sooner than that, right?

  8. Cruising on Epic in one week 😀... first time cruising out of Canaveral. Someone recommended to me to park at "Park Port Canaveral" ---$10.95/day and they shuttle you over...... Anyone have experience here? I don't mind paying more to park at the actual Port, if it's easier.

  9. Personally I was happy to pay the $128 gratuity on the beverage package for 2 people on our 4 day cruise.... If we had to pay for the package itself, it would've cost us $840!!! And on other cruise lines has cost us around $500.

  10. We will be on the Epic in March and it's our first time on NCL. I have seen conflicting info. Some people say booking a clamshell is considered an "excursion" and therefore gets priority tendering. Others say that's not true. I was wondering, if it's true, is it worth it or would we be just as well off reserving a tender as soon as we board and therefore hopefully get in one of the first groups?
