We were on a B2B on the Sky in early Dec and we loved the wake pool area. No age restrictions at all.

The Princess PDF document posted on their website clearly explains where cash refunds and FCC go. It is best to refer people to that source document for answers. Look up the announcement for the 60-day pause in operations.
Got that.... thank you.

I am not 100% sure, but when I got my FCC for cancelling, the booking, was in my name as primary(like you) but the FCC was specific to me and to my husband and non-transferable. So I would think most likely that any FCC you would get would be name specific to each of the three of you and non-transferable. But go ahead and apply for it and then see what you can do.
Pooh
Pooh... THANK YOU! I appreciate you for such a nicely said answer! I too did my cruise form and we will see. I also have been reading the Princess faqs, which somewhat helpful.

Refund for a canceled flight yes the refund would go to the cardholder. But you asked about a FCC. I doubt that would go to the cardholder/payer. THAT is what I was addressing, which I thought is also what you were asking.
No, you read it wrong. I know that the FCC does not go back to the credit card. My concern was does Princess "split up" the reservation? or that "I the who paid for the cruise" does the fare go back to the credit card on file?
I all ready have the answer from another poster, that this has happened to them.

If it is like almost all travel arrangements, the credit stays with the passeanger regardless of who paid. You might be able to contact Princess when things slow down to ask for sure, or to ask for special dispensation. Who knows for sure.
My problem is that my daughter is Military and her job deploys alot. I rather she goes, but it was hard enough to plan the one we were on.. Im so heartbroken!. I will call my sweet Princess agent after this settled down.

this is something i think a lotta newbies dont know, i was a newbie, i paid for someones cruise and they couldnt go. we had the princess insurance and the credit went back to them, not me. if you are first timer u wouldnt probably know this. the other person signed a form saying they didnt want the money and my princess TA got my my money back so i was happy. i gave her my next booking even though i'm sure 3rd party would have been cheaper. she earned my money.
I know the airlines refund the card holder.. I'm not new to that. Been on 6 Cruises, I've never had a Cruise cancelled on me. My Cruises are normally with my DH, but this time I wanted to take my Daughter and Grandson and they are sooo disappointed!!!

Agreed! I used Princess agent, they must be terribly busy right now. Got my cancellation email, but the form does not open... it said it would back up soon. We just wait!

Sorry - I thought you were quoting the poster that just posted about the April 12th sailing.
No worries I'm totally confused with legal writings 🤣

I was on the Regal April 5th

Option #1 Money paid + FCC bonus (the higher one)

If your cruise fare(and only your cruise fare) was $2000 per person, then you would get $3500pp in FCC which is 175% of your original cruise fare.
Does anyone know*
I paid in full for our April 5th cruise. Our (fare only) is for myself $1390 my daughter $1390 and my 8yro Grandson $480. I'm going to take option 1, 100% with 175% FCC, so does that all go to the one who paid(Me) or does Princess split it?
I don't know if my daughter can take off work, for another future cruise.

Go through your travel agent.
I went with Princess and used Ez-air. I'm going with option #, 100% with 175% fcc. So, I guess if my "cancelled" cruise cost appx $4000. I would have to find a cruise at $4000.> greater?

Think of it as a pot of money in the Bank of Princess. You can spend it on one voyage or multiple. Up to the expiry date.
Thank you again steeler36 😂

I am confused with the 175% future cruise credit. Can someone please explain/give me an example.
Thanks
Me too.. confused, do I rebook another cruise 100% credit and then have to book/take 2nd cruise by May 2022 to use 175%= FCC on that cruise?

I asked my TA the same question and here's her response:
The extra obc will probably not show up until the week you sail or when you sail, this is all new and they aren’y adding the extra obc until they know for sure if people are cancelling.
To me, my TA's response doesn't make much sense. Princess has announced they will be offering this,. so I don't understand what it has to do with people cancelling.

Princess told me days before the cruise. You don't have to stand in line at customer service desk, you can check the (nearby portfolio machine).

Awesome. They all work so hard and sacrifice so much. Have a great cruise!
100% agree! We always prepay tips, bring extra cash to tip on board and my job is to collect names of the exceptional crew names/job titles/ work locations for the end if cruise survey, which the crew also really- really needs! The ship crew members told me they get graded on all surveys (they say online survey is most effective for them) and they get promoted for better positions.

If I use a "Cruise Broker" to book my cruise, can I book flights with Princess Ez Air?
-
Going on Regal April with my daughters, I'm Platinum and they are not, but in my cabin. Can they go in the lounge with me or I give alone?

Passports only include biometric data. they do not include travel. Does the TSA release this info to cruise lines? Do you have a citation. Not everyone gets a stamp in the passport.
Ahhh.... Yes passports have a unique scannable code on them, take a look page 2-3 on the bottom is a long code. Yes your travel history can be checked.

Fearmongering? I don't believe it is fearmongering after the many reports of Chinese Nationals taking fever-reducing meds before boarding flights to take vacations abroad. Rumor has it that cruise lines in South FL are refunding cruise fares to Chinese passengers; as far as I know this is a rumor. The reality is as this virus spreads in China, and it will, what will cruise lines do? Will they ban passengers from China? As another poster said, cruise ships are petrie dishes.
The bottom line: my wife and I will continue to cruise, but we will alter our behavior by washing/sanitizing our hands, keeping our hands away from our faces, not shaking hands, bringing our own sanitizing wipes to wipe down our cabin, daily...
As retired Airline employees, I can say Planes are the worst petrie dishes! Recycled air, potable water, blankets re-packed and never washed and they never clean the lavatories! If people knew how disgusting the Lavatory is maintained on a plane you'd throw up!
I never never ever use the Lav on a plane.

Not much they can do other than excluding passengers from boarding based on their previous travels. Unfortunately people do tend to be less than honest with those kinds of questionaires. The checks like they are doing at the airports is another possibility, but no certainty with those.
I agree some people can be dishonest on the questionnaire, but! Princess and U.S officials CAN and DO check your travel history via your passport.
Currently the Cruiselines are not allowing passengers onboard if they have a significant history of travel to/from China.

Hi Kittygal23, Your question(s) is quite broad, so I will try.
We used EZ Air 3 times and had very good luck with it. We usually book our Cruises 12 to 6 months out, just last Month (Dec) our flight had 4 changes, which were very insignificant small time changes and never day(s) changes.
I worked for the Airlines for 26 years and Airlines do make slight changes all the time, due to crew, maintenance, or Aircraft availability/scheduling and any changes they are usually finalized within 30 days before flight time.
You can make changes, but ARE subject to price changes too, so if you got a really good price KEEP it! I use a phone App's like hopper.com and to monitor prices and skyscanner.com is a very trusted site for comparing Airfares.
I hope this helps.
