  1. I didn’t hear about the women jumping, I learned a lesson the hard way if you know someone has had to much to drink DO NOT TELL THE SECURITY YOU WANT YOUR BALCONY DOOR SECURED, the next thing you know they are accusing the person of saying they are going to jump, them they grab a 108# women by the arm bruising her and to make matters worse they put the person on a do not cruise list, I was concerned my daughter had to much to drink and asked security to lock my balcony what a mistake that was.

  2. When was that? I have heard that prices have skyrocketed.

We did it last August 2017, the gentleman at Comfort said that every cruise someone has figured out the cheaper way to do Atlantis and he thought it was a great thing.

  3. We are taking a family cruise on the Conquest June 30th. We have 8 cabins unfortunately not in a row. I wanted to make something we could put on our cabin door so we would know which cabins were ours. We have cruisers aged 2 years old to 70 so it is more for the children. I thought magnets but I am not sure the doors are metal or if they would work. Some one mentioned vinyl stickers that could be removed at the end of the cruise. Anyone have any ideas????

We were on the Conquest in August 2017 at that time it was metal we did decorate our door in a pirate theme.

  4. We were on a RCL ship a few years back during spring break. The ship left Ft. Lauderdale and was only a 5 day cruise. I was naive enough not to realize this was a perfect storm for a bad cruise! There was some fighting among these college kids. They were all held in a Holding Cell on the ship until we arrived at the next port, which was Falmouth, Jamaica. RCL put at least 8-9 guys off the ship with their luggage. We watched from our balcony, them just standing there in disbelief, as we were sailing away. Jamaica is not a place where I would want to be stranded! Especially Falmouth due to how dangerous it is outside the cruise ship gated compound. I applauded RCL for they way they handled the situation. Zero tolerance!

We also had some rowdy kids right next to our cabin playing very loud music all hours of the night. They somehow removed the balcony dividers and were running up and down the outside of the ship across everyone's balconies banging on the sliding glass door. I assume security took care of them as well, we never heard a peep out of them the rest of the cruise!

The one thing everyone needs to realize is that if a port won’t take the problem person they don’t have to, do basically the Ship is stuck with them.

  5. I just stepped off the Tassie trip a few days ago from the Carnival Legend. It was calm and safe on board the whole trip.

A good thing about most Aussies, no matter their creed or heritage - do not suffer fools for very long

What I don’t understand is that the Ship is big, more than one pool if a group of people are being rude stay away from them. If people have noticed in the beginning they were trouble if they come around go somewhere else. I have always told my kids in school if you know who the bully is stay away from that person.

  6. Hmmm, just last week, a woman smashed a bottle over a guy’s head on Princess. A few months ago, a woman was murdered on Princess. And need I remind you of the woman who was brutally raped and almost killed on HAL? Don’t act like this stuff doesn’t happen on all lines and don’t act like you’re not reading these responses.

I agree this has gone on to long, everyone had their opinion but no one knows what really happened.

  7. So many conclusions based on about 2 minutes of video. Blame carnival for overacting response, not acting sooner, lack of training, alcohol involvement, whatever. No one on cruise critic yet knows the full story. Let’s take a breath before condemning anyone.

I say everyone have beaten the story like beating a dead horse, it is dead.

  8. Snoody much?! Those lowered prices have afforded my family to expand our vacation options and also allow for more that just one trip a year. Now that more schools are going to a balanced calendar with a 2 week Spring Break and a week long Fall Break, we have 3 decent chances for getaways. So maybe instead of referring to us frugal conscious consumers as “Ferals” you should remember that my family’s money spends just as well as yours.

  10. I was on this ship also this past week. Vista. And that picture is towards the end of the line lol. That line goes all the way down the front of the building and then inside. I kind of felt bad when I walked past all that and went in the VIP entrance. Had my passports scanned and as sitting in the FTTF area in less than 5 minutes after arriving to the port.

You snooze you lose, as soon as FTTF is up I grab it, next cruise I have 4 cabins
