Hello!

I just booked my first cruise for my wife and I. The CSR at Celebrity that I spoke to on the phone said that the only drinks I could bring onboard with me were 2 bottles of wine. I asked if I could bring a case of water and he said no. I asked him to confirm as I've read countless threads of people bringing water and he placed me on hold, returned after a bit and confirmed -- no, they will not allow me to bring my own water onboard.

I realize that the cruise line should be the 'authority' on this information, but I'm seeing so many threads where empirical data says otherwise.

What are people's thoughts on this?
