  1. May be a silly question but we are cruising out of Port Canaveral on January 6th. My kids 17 year old friend is coming with us. Her and her family did not want to get a passport or passport card so we are using the birth certificate and drivers license and the notarized permission from her parents. However, the rest of us have passports or passport cards. I have read where you go in either the passport line or the birth certificate line depending on what documents you have. Will someone be able to go through that line with her even though we all have passports or cards or would she be able to go through passport line with us? Sorry if this is a dumb question but just want to be prepared for any little hiccup we may have. This is only our second cruise and the first with our kids (teenagers).

  2. The only date that worked for us was January 2nd and it was full when I called. Then I did have to laugh. Our son is in college so we are limited on times and dates to go. After about an hour on the phone we settled for a cruise on the mariner of the seas, out of port Canaveral, 1 day shorter and to the Bahamas... none of which I was thrilled with but kids are looking forward to a cruise so felt I needed to book something.

Very unlikely a 1/6/20 sailing is sold out at this point. Not to worry the OP but it is a bit of a coincidence that the sailing disappears right about 330 days out when folks could possibly start booking flights.

i thought it was a little unlikely it would be sold out at this point as well. i will wait a few days and see if anything changes.

A lot of cruise lines pull a cruise off their website when it is completely sold out. As long as you still see it on your log in page you are fine. I know for sure carnival does this, pretty sure royal does too.

I am hoping that's what it is but now I am a little worried about this charter stuff. I was just reading on here about people that have lost their cruises to charters.

  5. Hi everyone. I have booked my second Royal Caribbean cruise for next January. The cruise is no longer listed on the website. It is still on my dashboard. I wasn't too concerned, I thought maybe it's full. Someone that decided they wanted to go with us called and the planner couldn't even pull up the cruise at all, so I thought that was a little weird. I tried to make an online payment today and it will not let me do that. It is saying technical difficulties etc. I did call and was able to make a payment on the automated system, but I was just wondering if this is normal and all coincidence or if I have reason to worry and should I call?

    Thank you!
