  1. Which do you prefer in CocoCay? What were the things that helped you decide? I am not opposed to spending the money if there are pluses with the cabanas. I would prefer to have a great view of the water. Some pics I have seen show cabinettes in front of the beds obscuring the view. Also looking for the area that is on a nice stretch of sand where we don't have to walk far to get in the water. Which of these would be my best bet? We are mostly sun people so would be renting for Comfort more than shade. TIA! Five more days till cruising!

Loved my Beach Bed! I was in front so Beach was right in front of me but they all will have a good view. It's all Beach Beds in one area and bungalows beside them in another area (not in front of beds). I'm glad I chose the bed versus the bungalow due to the bungalows just having a couch and no place to lay down inside it. They both get the same lunch brought to them. (Pre-Ordered on the ship)

  2. Thank you for the tips! Do you feel the swim was worth the extra cost compared to the encounter? Also, does the whole family have to pay the amount? Our two kids want to do the encounter/swim, can my husband and I pay for just them and watch or do we need to pay the full price for the 4 of us since we'll need to take the ferry over etc?

    Thanks!

An observer ticket is $49 and needs to be bought on the ship. Our kids did the encounter and it was amazing! I'm not disappointed that we didn't do the swim. They got to spend a good amount of time with the dolphin. They stand in a line with others in the pool and the dolphin goes up and down the line one at a time doing one activity at a time with each person. They fed, danced and hugged and kissed the dolphin. The dolphin trainer was amazing and made it so much fun to watch and do.

  3. If you book through the cruise ship can you add on observers? I am doing the dolphin encounter with my oldest daughter but my younger daughter wants to watch. I hate to pay full price for the excursion for her to just watch. I did not see an option for observer on RC website

We just did this and it was $49 a piece on the ship for the observer pass. It was a great experience!
