That makes sense. We don't love the ambiance of AP so we we're trying to avoid getting it for 3 nights more so that being in a particular room on a particular night. But that makes sense what you are saying.

Remind me again, you can make a request for a specific rotation but if you do that you cant also request specific servers? And if you make a dining request you cant request a particular room attendant? Thanks!

The last Navigators posted from June appear to show that they ran Alladin on 2 nights and Believe on 2 nights in the Fantasy. Another night was the Incredibles 2. I am getting ready to drop $9k on a Merrytime Cruise. If this is so widely despised, somebody please tell me that Disney is done with this "test".

They are shown twice each night. You can definitely make one showing or the other. The issue here is that they are running the same shows up to 4 times a cruise (2 different nights) when that didn't used to be the case.

I understand the point-of-view that seeing non-descript entertainers on the main stage might not be best use of the Walt Disney Theatre. Nonetheless, I don’t need to see a Disney production more than once during a cruise - we are frequent cruisers and have seen most of the Disney productions multiple times. What we have enjoyed is use of the main stage for extraordinary entertainment such as: (1) renowned broadway entertainers from Disney show (for example, Susan Egan); and (2) top quality acts (for example Voice Play) that we have seen on longer cruises. I do believe DCL will find the right answer for how best to utilize the main stage for outstanding entertainment options. In my view, it’s more about matching top quality talent to that venue than repetition of main shows.

In my opinion, so not worth it. Theres really limited privacy in the main stream rooms and showers and we had to stalk the famous heated ceramic chairs. When we complained about the number of people monopolizing the area they looked at us funny and offered us a smelly scrub. It's definitely not something I would do again. In fact we bought 2 day passes and only used 1.

We should all complain then. That's absurd. I can see if a comedian gets sick and needs to leave the ship and running a show as a filler but this is just simply unacceptable for the price being paid.

So I read in a Facebook group that the new thing on longer cruises is to run the main stage shows on 2 nights each and have no variety acts in the main theater? Is this accurate? I'd hate to pay for a 7 day on the Fantasy and have live entertainment on only 3 nights. I know I could go sort through the recent Navigators but figured someone here would be in the know.

The shows in the park are nothing like the shows on the ship. You are talking "theme park" versus Broadway. Otherwise, this sounds like a personal decision with a lot of factors. At 9 and 5, who cares if your kids miss an extra day of school. On a 4 day cruise you aren't going to get to do everything but the bigger ships do offer you more options.
