I am not sure on trip advisor is giving you the advice to take a later flight but they may be very overly cautious. The last two times we were on the Escape we were off the ship through customs and at the airport by no later than 8:00 am. If you walk off with luggage in hand you will have no problems.

I think it also depends how noise sensitive you are and how much time you spend in the cabin. We were in an Aft PH and read how there was so much noise from Spice but we were pretty much up joining the party at Spice so didn’t notice. Also we have been in Breakaway PH under the deck above and rarely heard anything. At best you might hear some chairs moving around but other than that it was all good. Enjoy and don’t let the little things matter...

I’m honestly not sure. I wouldn’t put much faith in anything that’s appearing online within a reservation at this point. At least on the transatlantic, the whole thing is a cluster-uh, mess.
Same with the Panama Canal voyage. Not able to book dinner or show reservations online. I had to book dinner reservations through the preconcierge. Like you said a cluster...:)

Any idea when the restaurant reservations will be available on the Bliss? We are within our 100 window (Haven) and so far nothing.

It can’t take serval hours to post. When I prepaid a few days ago I never did receive a receipt but in did appear in my vacation summary a few hours later.

Give cash. You may not even see a paper receipt during your cruise.
Agree there are no longer receipts to sign at the bar. Although we we able to add a tip for Speciality Meals

We have used National. Our last Escape cruise we were off the ship, to the curb, on the shuttle and at the Miami airport by 8:00 am. We picked up car and dropped of in Orlando.
-
. No you are still charged the 3% if you take cash out at the casino. I always buy OBC because I love to owe nothing when I walk off the ship. Can it be used in the casino without the 3% hit since it's a substitute for your own cash? -
We were on the Escape in November. First time we did walk off. We were at the curb about 7:30 am. We took a shuttle to National car rental and had reneged the car and were on the highway by 8:00. You should be just fine to make your flight. Enjoy your cruise.

We will be in 16100 next Saturday and I would be happy to check for you.

The carrot cake in the Haven restaurant. Also, their banana cream pie.

Did you purchase shore excursions? If so those were cancelled and show up as a negative amount due. This credit triggers the account to appear as a payment due when in fact it is a credit.

Has anyone noticed the new rendering for the Haven deck 17 no longer includes the white space that everyone thought initially was the larger balcony? Do you all still believe the larger balconies are on 17?

We stay at Ink48 which is a block from the terminal. The doorman/valet will even take your bags to the terminal.

We received ours at the spa. They have a list and put a sticker on the back of your card...

Well we have concluded another beautiful night in London and am looking forward to joining the Escape tomorrow. We have no expectations. We realize that everyone and everything is new so we have 10 nights of pure escape to discover the wonders of all the people who make this ship run. See you all in Southhampton...

I'm loving all the pictures! Do you happen to have a picture of The Haven Aft-facing Penthouse w/ Balcony? We are so excited, we have 12306 booked for next year.
Thank you!
If no one post we have 12306 on Thursdays TA and will be happy to post pics.

[Can anyone identify the brown-ish building/structure in the Vibe area that looks like it is attached to the wall that holds the retractable Haven area roof?]
I am not positive but I think the area that you are referring to is part of the Haven private restaurant with outdoor terrace.

Here is a link which is a spreadsheet created by Bear which provides a great description of cabins for the Breakaway and Getaway. Again, on both ships only 4 Cabins have the bed balcony combo. I am not sure why they would completely change for the Escape but anything is possible. I guess I will find out on the TA as we are booked in an H6 on deck 12.
-
Ahh....THAT would explain it!
Then "most" of those looking at H6's would have the layout they publish. Makes perfect sense. Having never been anywhere but 9 - I'd never really stopped to think how many of each there might be! :o
Thanks!
I am not sure if I agree. On the Breakaway the only H6 cabins with the bed next to the balcony were on decks 11 and 14 (which is 4) the remainder had the bath overlooking the balcony.

Anyone on the TA able to book entertainment? I still can't book the John Hughes show online, and I'm 88 days out.
Yes, we were able to book but we had to call.

Great pics everyone...

Anyone know when the ability to book thermal spa in advance shows up on website? Is it like the dining and show reservations? Approx. two months before embarkation?
It was available on our Escape TA at 90 days for the Haven area to book. We took advantage as it is very convenient not to have to rush to the Spa to secure.

Ship?
Not sure it is listed in the new Ultimate dining package terms and conditions.

No still unable to book shows. I was able to book internet. Also, dinner reservations are finally showing up on my account. The only one missing is the New Mexican restaurant.
