  1. When you compare drink package to drink package, NCLs is by far the most expensive while including the least. There’s no reason for the price to increase at all for them to include coffee and water.

Carnival drink package: $52 pp pd, includes ANY drink up to $50, limits to 15 alcoholic drinks a day

Celebrity premium drink package: $65 pp pd, includes drinks up to $13, including specialty coffee and premium waters.

NCL drink package: $89 pp pd, includes drinks up to $15 but not specialty coffee and water.

Though the $15 is deceptively low for the max price since every drink menu I saw had drinks over $15 on them

Not disagreeing with you at all. I'm simply asking a question of someone who states they'd pay more.

  2. Unfortunately, no. Other cruise lines off espresso coffee, bottled water, etc...in their beverage packages.

I do wish NCL would expand their program to include these items. And yes........I'm willing to pay more for it.

If the increase in price was double what it costs to pay as you go would you still happily pay extra for the package?

  3. I was highly disappointed to find that the New York terminal only had Pepsi machines after luggage check.

I think it's an outrage. We should protest at the Port. We can't let them control us like that!

  4. [emoji813]eyes::mad:yuck! Thats the worst item! They bread them! Bone in wings are not supposed to be breaded. Was so disappoined the first time we ordered these after everyone talking up the wings on here.
Didn't realise there was a 'Chicken Wings Police'

    Any other rules and regulations?

    To OP.

O'Sheehans is fine. Try it. What's the worst that can happen? And be a rebel, try the wings. Like the majority I think they're great regardless of how they're 'supposed to be'

  5. ............ By the way Norwegian apologists, people are entitled to their opinions. If you don't agree, please move along. Cruisecritic is meant for people to post their experiences right? Or are we forced to say Norwegian is great here only? .....

Lol. How contradictory of you. So people are entitled to their opinions but it seems only if those opinions match yours. If they don't they should "move along". Really? Can't you see what you've done there?

Cruise critic IS for posting experiences and, sorry to say, some people's experiences are different to yours. They have a right to share whether you like it or not. And no-one is forced to say anything about NCL so feel free to air your grievances

  6. Hi all,

I'm new to NCL, and will be on the Epic for our first Mediterranean trip as well. I've been lurking around here for months, and yet still have a few questions of my own.

    1. Now that I booked the shows, please let me know what to expect (when to show up or if we need to present proof of reservation etc...)

    2. If we can't make to the show or dinner, do we have to cancel?

    3. At the Port of Barcelona, do we just drop of our luggage first and then get in line to check in? How far is the walk?

    4. How is the temperature at restaurants and public area etc... (do they keep it cold?).

    TIA

I've sailed Epic out of Barcelona. Was also my first on NCL.

    1. They'll scan your key card on entry. Your booking details will be stored. I turned up about half an hour before showtime and relaxed with a drink from the bar in the theatre. There's service so you don't need to leave you're seat.

    2. If you've pre-paid then yes. If not then you don't have to but common courtesy would say yes to allow other passengers the opportunity to book.

    3. Luggage drop is a short walk from taxi/bus drop off. Drop off your luggage then find the check in line which is right next to luggage drop. My experience at Barcelona suggests a very efficient embarkation setup. Same for return to port.

    4. I found the temperature perfect but I'm from the UK and don't like things too warm!
