I just got off the pride with a 4 year old and 8 year old. we weren't offered a phone, they said they would call the room if there was an issue. They did call one time when my daughter wasn't feeling well and we just happened to be in the room, I'm not sure what they would have done if we didn't answer. She was just tired so it probably wouldn't have been a big deal if they didn't get ahold of us, but what if she was throwing up or something!? They didn't mention anything about using the hub app but that would have been really nice to have as an option.

I just got off the pride yesterday with an 8yr old boy and 4 yr old girl. Both loved camp carnival! They gave us a schedule for the week with the activities, I'm sure it varies ship to ship. But they had daily themes and did all sorts of things, arts and crafts, games, a volcano making project, dance party, video games etc. My son wasn't sure he would like it because he was in with the 6 to 8 group and he's almost 9, but he ended up making friends and wanted to go. They didn't feed them lunch so we had to pick them up mid day just to eat, but it was fine. They will give them dinner on lido and we did that a few times and it was great. There was l lots to do for kids, they ended up getting more overtired then rested because we were always doing something.

Thanks for the replies and the helpful information. We are in baltimore now, planning to get to the terminal closer to 1 and see how it goes. The kids will be waiting somewhere so I guess it doesn't really matter how long it takes. Just can't wait to get on the ship! Thanks again, this board provides so much helpful info for a newbie cruiser!

My family, including 2 young kids, will be sailing on the Pride out of baltimore on Sunday. We have a suite and our check in time is 12:30 to 1. Will there be a long time that we have to wait to get on the ship in the terminal after we check in? I am wondering if we should actually come later just so we don't have to entertain the kids in the terminal! We are driving into on Saturday so we can really come anytime. Thank you!

Great pictures Jeff! Where will I be able to find a Caribbean colada on Sunday?? It looks so good! And can I ask you, do they actually weigh the luggage that you are checking or is the 50 pounds more of a "suggestion". I am packing now and I'm concerned that the suitcases are probably a little more then 50 pounds...!

Thank you for this review! I'm a first time poster on cruise critic but have been reading up for a few weeks. My family is getting on the Pride this Sunday! Well as long as we can dig out of 2+ feet of snow that we have in upstate NY! Can't wait! I read your other pride review and it made me so happy that we chose this ship! Thanks!
