  1. We were on that same cruise and I must say I really enjoyed it. We danced every night and like you said, much love to energy plus. Avalon gets some love too because they kept the pool deck rockin. Dennis, the electric guitar player was super smooth in the atrium. We had a real good time on this cruise and can't wait til norweigan returns to New Orleans

  2. I will cruising on NCL next week. I trying them because I have noticed a decline in the entertainment on carnival. Particularly the bands have been sub-par. I'm not done with carnival but am looking for the musical experience we used to have on the carnival dream in 2015, 2016, and early 2017. We like to dance and noticed that those talented Filipino bands have disappeared. On our last cruise they had a young lady playing a guitar with a tip-can in front of her......in the Ocean Plaza at that. I felt bad for her because it tells me carnival wasn't paying her very much. Anyway, I don't need candy, flowers or fancy robes but I do need get my groove on. Maybe when the Dream leaves New Orleans and the Glory arrives things will be different. I'll give them another chance at some point.......maybe.

  3. I cruise on the Dream and the Triumph and I've seen both salsa, swing, and Ballroom dancing. You just have to get up, start dancing and some other couple will join you. We are smooth groove R&B style dancers and we always had a good time until Carnival went cheap and got rid of the good Filipino bands. I hope Carnival get's their head out of their anal cavity and bring to good bands back.

  4. The walkie talkie is a great way to keep in touch. Me and wife use them all the same you plan to use them. Make sure you get the 35 mile range units. They work much better. You will be able to ring your buddie and let her know you are up even if you are unable carry on a prolonged conversation. Give it a go. It will work.

  5. We've sailed on the Dream 5 times. Deck 2, 6, 7, 8 and 9. We have never felt any uncomfortable motion either time. One thing for sure. When you're on the Dream get ready for a good time. The Dream is the most, from coast to coast.

  6. We just returned today from a 7 day blast on the Dream. What a ship! What super entertainment! But to your question. I believe a light-weight sports chair will fit. 3 can sit on the balcony. The very worse situation would be to move the little table inside or in front of the door but close to the hand rail. Give it a go. You need 3 seats. I love the Dream!

  7. Hey Cool Cruiser, Thank you so much for posting the funtimes. This is what we've been ltrying to find for over 3 months. It hand all the details on the music and entertainment that we've been looking for. Thank you ever so much. We'll be sailing on 16 Apr so if you need something just say so.
