Quiet cabin? Very. Only 2 cabins to the right, so very few passers by.

Balcony view: Fabulous. Best yet.

Size: normal for SV

Wind a problem? No

Aft cabin, soot a problem? Not a big problem. There were a few specks but nothing major.

Specific problems w/cabin? There were some signs of wear and tear. Small tear in couch, wardrobe door was sticky. Cabin door had to be closed firmly to lock it.

Any other comments? No.

SloopJohn I think the point is that without the package you're paying 15% on each drink rather than just on the cost of the package. As you said earlier at least you have an idea of what your OBA's going to be ;)

But by far the beauty was in the ease of use... no hassles, no chits to sign etc. And no constant wondering... "How much is our Bar Bill / Ship Account going to be when we leave"

 

There is something of value in that alone.

Just looked out our last OBA statement - its surprising how it all adds up! ;)

I think our minds are almost made up. We like our wine, the odd beer or G&T so the Premium alcoholic package is looking good for us and the Premium non alcoholic package for our teen. I like the idea of not having to think too much about what I can and can't have either.

Just wondering how much a G&T usually in on board?

Hi Terry, we've just booked a similar cruise on Solstice in August and I quickly found my way to this thread. Well if I was excited before, its nothing to what I am now! And for that, I thank you.
