We just got back from our first Oasis cruise and I would choose that ship over any other one! Ship was beautiful and so much to do and the solarium was great! We went on freedom last year and it was ok... thought the solarium was small and humid as not much air flows. Pick oasis!

We decided to cancel out RC excursion to Megan's bay since it interfered with dinner reservations and decided to go on out own. Are there a lot of taxis heading out there... will there be any issues getting a taxi to come back to port when we're ready? Also, is it safe to venture out on your own in St. Thomas?

We always book excursions though the cruise line. Yes it is more expensive but to me it's worth the extra money to be guaranteed to get back on the ship on time.

Does anyone who has cruised Oasis know if they run good deals for the spa (particularly couples massage) during the sailing? My husband and I wanted to book a couples massage but the price seems very high, even with the 30% off embarkation day. Will there be better deals during the cruise or should I just suck it up and book that rate?

We booked a cruise with RC in January for April sailing and initially chose MTD but then decided on traditional about 3 weeks ago and were put on a waitlist since it was full. Within a week or so I checked our RC account and we were given traditional. I would say just keep checking I'm sure someone will either cancel their cruise or choose a different dining option instead!

Actually from what I read the the boat picks us up at the port and cruises around the island just off Maho Beach and that is where we snorkel. We aren't able to go to the beach which we are fine with since we are really wanting to just snorkel while there and see some planes come in. I was just wondering if the snorkeling is good there.

I posted this in the St. Martin board but haven't got a response so hoping to here. We are booked for this excursion through RCC and I was wondering how it is? The reviews I read online seemed mixed. We aren't expecting to go to the beach as some reviewers were disappointed but would like to have decent snorkeling and and nice boat tour there.

Thank you! I actually just called to change and my time is now full and can't even be put on a wait list. Oh well, I guess we'll see what traditional is all about! On the plus side we won't miss any of our shows :)

What is your opinion on having my time dining vs. traditional? We are set for 5:30 doing but considering changing to my time. There is only two of us so we are requesting a two person table. The idea of my time seems interesting but is there usually a long wait? And do you typically get seated with others?

We are signed up for the Megan's bay beach excursion on it cruise next month... has anyone been there and if so how is it? It isn't until 2 since our ship gets in late.

We have only done ocean view and a balcony once so I can't comment on the interior cabin. However, we did realize after our last cruise with a balcony that we really didn't utilize it as often as we hoped. We enjoyed being up at the pool deck on sea days and port days we're out exploring. I would suggest next time maybe an ocean view if you still want to look outside and have some natural light but not pay a fortune for a balcony.

Has anyone ever done this excursion in St. Maarten? We love to snorkel and wanted to see the planes without doing the beach so are hoping this is as good as it looks?

We are booked in a FWD ocean view cabin (8528) for April 2nd on Oasis of the seas and I am a little concerned if there is a lot of motion? I'm prone to slight sea sickness in rough seas. We have always stayed mid ship and I haven't had an issue but since we booked so late only FWD was available. I have also heard with the size of the ship it shouldn't be an issue but is anyone ever stayed in this area of the Oasis?
