Holiday inn port of Miami , cvs 1 block down ,cop shop 1 block the other way , bayside market across the street,tour boat leaves from the dock there , get a room on the 8 or 9 th floor

By all means yes have the insurance,we have only done fly in day of once after that we fly in day before like the holiday inn port of Miami stay on the 8 or 9 th floor good view of the ships , bayside market is across the street and a cvs one block up taxi ride is all of 8 minutes, and a cop shop one block the other way , I found drinks in the bar to be $$ buy sprit's at cvs cheaper , you can get dinner at bayside market , day of sail get up shower ,eat , check your paper work ,pack ,your bags the way you want what to carry on and what to check at the dock

On Viking only the suites had a sofa ,we were on the legend the long boats ,we did Amsterdam to Budapest

We went on a Viking river cruise Amsterdam to Budapest with 3 days in Amsterdam before, our one complaint what my husband called the basement room it had a window, not a fench balcony ,at the end of April for the last queens day the whole trip we only had 3 days of no rain,take a light to med coat for April it might get a little cold some days ,great food rooms very comfortable,shower worked great ,I researched all our stops before we left helped a lot ,take comfortable shoes you walk lots ,

We retired in 07 he had 32 years at Chrysler I got a buyout my pension comes at 62 , he wanted to stay in Missouri till the grandkids were older in 2018 they will be 18 and 25 and we are off to Florida with maybe a lil place in the u p of Michigan
