I am wondering the same thing. We are signed up for this next month, and I'm curious how much the pictures and video cost. Any info is appreciated!

Thanks for coming back to update us! I'll go ahead and book my rentals with Omar then!Just returned from my trip on the Sensation. Everything was wonderful. I highly recommend Omar for any of your needs he offers more than just golf carts. Extremely reliable no complaints at all. Omar is the man!!Sent from my iPhone using Forums

That makes me feel so much better! I'm barely 5'2", so I guess I'll be safe then! ;-)Looking back at pictures from my last cruise the railing is just I would just below by shoulders like inches and I am 5'3". I would literally have to climb the glass to fall over.Sent from my SM-G900P using Forums mobile app

Thanks! I honestly hope I love cruising as much as everyone on CC says I will! Only 33 more days! :-)You will have a great time on the Magic with Dr. E!! We were on Magic last year and will also be on her again in February. Enjoy your cruise!!Sent from my SM-G900P using Forums mobile app

I'll be a first time cruiser next month on the Magic, and I, for one, am terrified. But I've done enough research and had reassurance from friends who have cruised to know that the fear is mostly mind over matter. But I'll say that these new "man overboard" reports aren't helping my anxiety! I'm doing my best to push it out of my head and focus on having a great time once I'm onboard!I never said I had reports....it is a common question for people that know nothing about cruise ships other than seeing "fell overboard" on the news. I am very happy that you are not scared to death...but has it ever crossed your mind that could fall overboard? No? Wonderful! :) I hope you have a wonderful 1st cruise next month. Be prepared to be addicted!!!!:cool:Sent from my SM-G900P using Forums mobile app

Any luck? I'm looking for a golf cart vendor also...HiI don't know if you have tried, but you can check the posts on the port of call threads for Grand Turk and if a search doesn't result anything you could post your question there as well.
have a great cruise

Thanks for this info! So very helpful! Our family will be there near the end of February and were interested in possibly renting golf carts and you just sold us on the idea. Looking forward to it! :-)Hi! We just returned from a stop in Grand Turk on Dec. 13. We had visited Grand Turk on a cruise a couple of years ago and LOVED IT! This trip was "different". We did rent a 4 passenger golf cart (from Grand Turk Adventures, Omar was awesome!) and toured the island on our own. We were told that although the power was back on, it hadn't been on that long. Different degrees of destruction were everywhere. We were able to see beaches/sights that we wouldn't have normally been able to see, but it was heartbreaking at the same time. That being said, the locals were so friendly! Waving and smiling everywhere we went. They were great! We went to Governors Beach, over by the beached ship, to look for sea glass. That area was still in pretty rough shape but the shelling was fantastic.Jack's Shack was up and running with a regular menu and strong drinks. Conch fritters, yummy! BUT...and this has nothing to do with Jack's... the flies were absolutely horrendous. I've been on more than one farm in my life, so I know what lots of flies look like. This was unlike anything I've ever seen. We were told by someone at Jack's that nothing had been done with the dump since the storms, and now they were being overrun by flies. I can not confirm nor deny that info, but that's what we were told by a local. Hopefully something has has since happened to improve the fly situation for the locals and tourists.
The port area was in great shape. Other than lots of new vegetation that had recently been planted, I didn't see any signs of damage.
I'm glad that we were able to see the island and contribute to it by putting much needed money back into their economy. They need it. If you're going to Grand Turk expecting to see a pristine location, stay in the port area. If you want to add to the local economy and see remnants of the Hell they must have gone through a few months ago, please venture out and see the island. The lighthouse / zip line area is up and operational. The wild donkeys are fun to see. There are beaches outside of the port area that are great to explore. If you're feeling a bit adventurous, get a map and go! For those of you who are wondering... I always felt safe. :) I hope this helped!

I agree with BoopTennis. We rented two golf carts and found it rather boring. Seeing the horses and donkeys was fun, but the ride to the lighthouse and back, left us with only time for a quick bite at Jack's Shack, and an hour in the water, by the time we needed to get back on the boat. Also, with two boats in port, Jack's was super crowded, and definitely a party atmosphere. Just something to consider since you have younger kids. I was hoping for a laid back beach vibe, and it definitely wasn't. Although the jerk chicken really was amazing!
