  1. We're definitely going to try to rent a car, just don't know what to do with it while we're cruising! But I am checking around with the TA and rental places, I was really wanting to see if anyone has done it!

  2. Has anyone ever rented a car to drive to the cruise port from home? I'm wondering did you return the car before embarking and then get a new car after you debarked or did you keep the car the week and pay for parking? We live in Oklahoma but may drive to NOLA, and needed a big enough vehicle for everyone but don't know what our options may be!

  4. I know, we had a massage booked for the afternoon of the Belize day and had to cancel because it was now the Mahogany Bay day and we plan to be out at port longer that day so now I've got to decide if I'm going to re- book for the Belize day!

  5. Very true! But we can try with the door decorations anyway lol.. really not trying to end it and if it is banned eventually it won't be the end of the world for me but I do agree it will be banned if rules are not followed [emoji853]

  6. I disagree. Carnival will eventually ban door decorations entirely.

Carnival will use the excuse that the rules were not followed so in the interest of safety all door decorations will be banned.

We now have staggered check in because people didn't follow the request to show up at certain times

Sail and Sign cards are now going to be in the mailbox because people didn't read the fire door sign and went to staterooms early.

We can't bring bottled water on board because too many people were smuggling booze.

  7. We decorated ours on the Breeze, it was just for fun.. we used command strips because I was told not all doors were magnetic, also the say to be sure its fire retardant but I used some butcher paper and put poster board words and party supply cutouts with a nautical theme.. it was our first cruise so I wanted something to remember it by.. also there is a FB page called "Carnival Cruisers....decorate your doors" you can join, the main issue with that is they strongly urge you not to use anything that is not flame retardant but the only thing that really can happen is the cruise line make you remove your decorations if they're not up to their standard so I say just go for it and see what happens lol!!

  8. I don't care either way, I've said it before that age isn't an indicator of maturity, You might have an adults only pool and have just as horse play, I was in the aft pool last June on the Breeze, had a child to my right and an adult directly in front of me, the adult was 10 times worse than the child next to me and the adult dropped the f-bomb several times, I got out and used a lounger to relax, so I don't really care about the pool situation!

  9. I loved it! We got on the ship soon after wedding parties, platinum and diamond, then we got to go straight to our room and drop carry on off, we saw many people through the day lugging their carry on stuff around, it was worth it for that, also I visited guest services a few times for simple things and bypassed the mile long line so it was worth it for that! I will do it again if I get a chance
