We took the Behind the Fun tour on the Fascination and Breeze! Absolutely loved it! Go to the excursion desk to book it as soon as you get onboard. It sells out quickly, and it’s well worth the cost!

We have done Salsa and Salsa twice....on our very first cruise and the last one, our tenth cruise. It is amazing! We had sooooo much fun. Highly recommend it!

We will be cruising on the Freedom for the January 2019 Journeys cruise (Panama Canal partial transit). It will be our first Journeys cruise, and we are very excited about it. Ports to visit include Grand Cayman, Aruba, Curaçao, Columbia, Costa Rica, and Cozumel. The excursions for these ports as currently listed on the Carnival website are more limited than what are normally offered. Does anyone have any experience with this situation or words of wisdom concerning this? Since it is 250+ days until sailing, will more excursions be added, or is this normal for a Journeys cruise or for the time of year (we normally cruise in April to June time frame).

We have been on this itinerary out of San Juan twice....once on the Liberty and once on the Fascination, balcony cabins on both (we did go to Dominica, it not Antigua) and absolutely loved it. We especially liked the Fascination. Would so like to do this itinerary again! We love old San Juan as a port!

Just happened to us with two different wait staff members on our B2B last month. One was on our wait staff on two different cruises/ships and one was on the same ship two years ago. Just amazing and really a great feeling.

We have flown to San Juan twice from Kansas City via Southwest with stops enroute in Orlando and coming back in Tampa.

Just got off B2B on the Breeze last week and also sailed on it 2 years ago. Love the Breeze. Was on the Vista last year. I personally like the Breeze by a very thin margin, but can’t go wrong with either one.

We always stay at the Sheraton Old San Juan. Perfect location for Carnival cruisers!

We just got off B2B 6th deck aft balcony on the Breeze and we have had aft balcony twice before this(8th and 6th Deck). Wouldn’t trade for anything. Love the aft balconies.

Latest Accuweather forecast shows it to be cloudy and cool but only a slight chance of rain in Galveston this Sunday. Hope the forecast is right. No matter...always sunshine filled on the ship.

I have a “cruise packing list” excel spreadsheet saved on my PC that I print off a couple weeks before sail date. I then go purchase anything that I need from the list and start packing all but clothing a week before.

Great review. We were on the Vista last June for an 8 day Southern Caribbean itinerary. Our first B2B coming up soon on the Breeze.

We did this same cruise (with the exception of Dominica which we visited and loved on another itinerary) nearly a year ago and LOVED IT! Great ports of call! San Juan is amazing for a departure port.

Sheraton Old San Juan is always our choice with a room/balcony facing the pier and cruise port. So convenient to everything in Old San Juan.

Native Quest is a great, fun excursion for all ages available from Carnival. At Fort Charlotte/Fort Darcy. Historical, cultural, and culinary adventure. We loved it...well worth the price!

Sailing excursion - Freeport or Nassua
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
We did the luxury sailing at Nassau. It was amazing and highly recommend. We chose the glass bottom boat excursion at Freeport and was pleased with it, but the luxury sailboat at Nassau was absolutely the best!
