  1. We are cruising in March on the Symphony.  My youngest son is a bit small for his age.  Does anyone know what the height requirements are for any of the water slides on the ship?  I recall my older one was tall enough to ride last year.  But I don't know that my younger son is as tall as his older brother was last year.  Numbers would be wonderful!  Thanks in advance!

  2. We have a group traveling together and wanted to be able to open the balcony doors between rooms to enable us to go from room to room via the balcony.

Are all adjacent “neighborhood” (boardwalk/Central Park) balcony rooms able to connect to each other via the little side door on the balcony? Or are there some that cannot be opened? If so, how can I tell on the map what can open and what can not?

    Thanks in advance!

  3. First time RCCL cruiser. We are getting on board credit from our travel agent. I would like to use that to pay for our drink and soda packages (we usually don't spend much on board otherwise). Can we purchase that after we get on the ship? If so, how do we get the soda cups, as I heard they're usually in your room when you arrive.

Also, does anyone know of any restrictions on what you can spend "non-RCCL" on board credit on? Can it be used as a deposit on a future cruise?

    Thanks in advance!

  4. We are considering a cruise on Harmony OTS in May. We have done 10+ cruises on Disney and are familiar with their kids programs and activities. But have many newbie questions now that we are planning to sail on Harmony.

    1. Are they strict on ages in the kids club. We have 4 year old and 7 year old. They would like to play together but I believe I saw one club was ages 3-6, the next was 7-?. Are they flexible on what ages can go in each kids area?

    2. What are the height restrictions for the slides on Splashaway Bay? My 4 year old is short for his age (40 inches). I thought I read somewhere 42 inches minimum. That seems crazy because the slide looked very benign and if it is in an area designed for "kids", that height eliminates most preschoolers from using it.

If anyone with past Disney experience has any other tips or differences between DCL and Royal Caribbean they can share (besides the drink packages and characters differences :)) I would love to hear them, especially specific to the KIDS activities.

    Thanks in advance!!!!
