    First, I know that recommending a travel agent is not allowed. However, I'm hoping to get some advice on how to find a travel agent that will actively look for cruise price reductions. In the past, I typically have booked with large online sites and just work with whoever answers the call. I haven't really expected that they would automatically check for me. This time, I'm about to book a very expensive cruise pretty far out so I'd really like to work with someone that will check and let me know when there are better deals. In case it matters, we already know we are going on NCL because we have cruise next certificates.

    Getaway Disembarkation This Morning

    I will post a more detailed review later in the week but I know we were anxious to know how disembarkation went the week before us. So for those of you getting on this amazing ship today or the next few weeks, here's how it went down for us. We got in line at 7:10...much later than we wanted. We got a little nervous when we saw the line was already wrapped around the casino. Then the cruise director announced that there was only one gang way just like last week...even more nervous because we have an 1145 out of FLL. However right after that, we started moving FAST! We weren't prepared for that and had the kids settled in with tablets for the long wait. After quickly packing back up, we were on the curb by 758!

     

    Now it's 835 and we are still sitting on the NCL transfer bus waiting to leave for the airport. If the guy on the dock tells you they are leaving in the next 15 mins don't necessarily believe it. Our bus is full and they aren't in any hurry to leave but luckily we have a little extra time due to the quick disembarkation.

     

    Thanks to all who have us great information for our cruise! I will post a longer review later but wanted to at least give our experience because I know we were worried about disembarkation. Let's hope the flights are just as smooth.

     

    Bottom line: everything was fantastic! More to come...
