Thanks everyone! We have booked the Oceania Riviera Mediterranean cruise for next May! So excited! Thanks for all the info :)

We are in the process of booking our first cruise. I have asked a couple of questions on here and have had such amazing responses, so I thought I would try one more.
I have read a lot of reviews surrounding how Oceania attracts an "older" crowd (which is irrelevant to us) and how it is very quiet in the evenings, with most people going back to their room after supper. My husband and I are in our mid thirties. We are not huge party animals or anything, but we do enjoy having a few after dinner drinks and meeting new people in the evening (regardless of age). I am just wondering will there be some people out and about after dinner?
We are still trying to decide between the Oceania Riviera and Celebrity Reflection for our Eastern Mediterranean Cruise. We are almost decided on the Oceania, but my only concern is that we may feel "out of place".
Any information is greatly appreciated. :)
Thanks again!

Thank you so much for your review. My husband and I (mid thirties) are trying to decide between 2 cruises now:
1. Oceania Riviera with the following ports:
Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy, Amalfi/Positano, ItalyCatania, ItalyArgostoli (Cephalonia), GreeceKotor, MontenegroSplit, CroatiaKoper, SloveniaVenice, ItalyVenice, Italy
2.Celebrity Reflection with the following ports:
Civitavecchia, , IT, Messina, , IT, Valletta, , MT, Mikonos, , GR ,Rhodes, , GR ,Santorini, , GR ,Athens, , GR ,Naples, , IT, Civitavecchia, , IT
We are struggling to decide. We really enjoy food - and the restaurants look terrific on the Oceania and we really like that they are included in the price. I haven't heard of some of the ports on this cruise though. I am sure they are beautiful, it just makes me nervous to not go to see the sites I expected to see on a Mediterranean Cruise.
I am a bit nervous about the food on the celebrity and they fact that the specialty restaurants are additional charges. I am unsure what kind of cost for food we will be looking at in addition to the cruise.
We like to have a few drinks on vacations and would likely get the drink package on either cruise. Did you find selection better on one cruise vs. the other?
Would you have any tips or suggestions? Have you been to any of the ports? Are you able to tell me what you thought of the celebrity food?
Sorry for all the questions !
Thanks!!

Has anyone travelled to Kotor, Montenegro, Split, Croatia or Koper, Slovenia? If so, what were your thoughts?
Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

I am wondering if anyone has been to the above ports (Amalfi/Positano & Catania). If so, what are your thoughts? Any information would be greatly appreciated:)
Thanks!

My husbandand I are trying to plan a cruise for next May (2018) for our five yearanniversary. We have been talking about doing a Mediterranean Cruise for yearsnow and are finally going to go for it.
We are trying to decide between a 8 day on the Oceania Riviera cruise or the 10night Celebrity Reflection cruise.
Can anyone provide any insight to this decision?
We are big into food and drink, so the Oceania looks like it offers better dining. But the ports seem to be less know, which makes me nervous.
The ports of call are as follows:
Oceania:
Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy
Amalfi/Positano, ItalyCatania, ItalyArgostoli (Cephalonia), GreeceKotor, MontenegroSplit, CroatiaKoper, SloveniaVenice, ItalyVenice, Italy
Celebrity:
Civitavecchia, , IT, Messina, , IT, Valletta, , MT, Mikonos, , GR ,Rhodes, , GR ,Santorini, , GR ,Athens, , GR ,Naples, , IT, Civitavecchia, , IT
Oceania - How "low key" is it?

Thank you very much for your reply! We have now book the Oceania for next may! If there are few people out and about, we will have to just have to have a few drinks alone :) I am looking forward to the terrific food and great sights:) Thanks again, I really appreciated it!
