We are in the process of booking our first cruise (4-Night Bahamian Cruise out of Port Canaveral).
I want to avoid crowds but always want to maximize our experience. I've been told that mid to late August will be less crowded and cheaper because it's hurricane season and people are getting ready for back to school. Our other option is the week of Thanksgiving. I've been told that it will be most crowded/ more expensive but you will experience all the bliss that goes along with the holiday/ christmas season and the weather is better (not as hot?). Would love to hear peoples experience that have cruised during August or Thanksgiving. Suggestions/ Opinions?
