Thank you
The shuttles will have plenty of room for your luggage. No need to go to the port first.Have a wonderful cruise!!!

Wow. That's a good deal. Might have to call.avis
We just did a one-way rental from MCO to Cocoa Beach using Avis. Cost was around $60 plus gas for a mid-size SUV. -
Hi all, I am cruising from Port Canaveral in July and plan in using parkportcanaveral.com to leave the car ($7 a day can't be beat!). My question is should we drive to the port first and drop our luggage then drive back to the parking lot to catch the shuttle or just take the luggage on the shuttle with us?
Thanks

Hi, could I ask how much you are paying for the one way rental. We are flying into MCO in july and renting one way and doing the same as a return, renting in Cocoa and returning to MCO. We are playing 145 for both days from Budget.
As far as the tolls, you can do cash at each one. Just be sure to veer to the right (Looks like an exit) to pay the cash.

Thank you My son doesnt seem to mind where he will sleep! I guess at 16, it doesn't matter. Lol;)
Our son who is over six feet tall and weighs over 250 slept on one without any problems. He said it was comfortable. -
Thank you. I am a little nervous not booking directly with Carnival. I have read about a lot of crime in Nassau and Freeport and I want to make sure I am back to the ship on time.
Atlantis is a short cab ride away, no need to go through the ship. You can but passes directly on their website. There is one that includes the beach and aquarium. -
Thank you. I think I will be book directly with Carnival. You stated to make sure I understood the terms of the 110% price guarantee. Is there something that I didn't see? I thought that if you found the same excursion for less money, you filled the form on line and they let you know if you will be receiving the price guarantee.
On our first cruise, we only did ship's excursions to get to know how excursion really works, from our experience and others. Familiar with the pros and cons of ship vs 3rd party vs on your own, we are more confident in making a choice on the next cruise. In your case, I would take Carnival's price guarantee after understanding its fine prints.

I will be in Nassau and Freeport in July. My son (16) wants to go to Atlantis in Nassau (no the waterpark, just Atlantis) but hubby and are unsure if it is worth the money. Would another beach be a better place for us? And should we book through Carnival?
He also wants to go snorkeling in Freeport but have read that since the hurricane, the snorkeling is not what it used to be? I looked at pricing through Deadmansreef.com and was going to do the 110% price guarantee through Carnival. Any thoughts on what we should be doing? This is our first cruise.

We are traveling in July on our 1st cruise. We will stop in both Freeport and Nassau. Wondering which has the best beach. My 16 year old son wants to snorkel at one port and either beach day or city tour the day.

Thank you. It looks like he should be fine

Thank you. I guess we'll just have to wait and see

Thanks for the quick response. How long of an extension cord do you usually take?
-
If there is only 1 outlet in the room, can we bring an actual extension cord? My husband uses a c-pap machine which will need to be plugged in. How will the plug reach all the way to the plug on the desk without an extension cord. I purchased a strip plus with 3 plugs and 2 usb plugs.
Thanks

We will be cruising on the Liberty in July in a balcony room. I requested a king room and it has a sofa bed. Does the bed pull out into a bed or is it just the sofa part you seen in the pictures. My son is 6' tall and I want to be sure he will not be hanging off the end of the bed or be uncomfortable.
Thanks

Thank you. Is Atlantis worth the $150+ that it says it costs?

Hi all. My husband, myself and my 16 year old son will be cruising on Carnival Liberty in July to Nassau and Freeport. What excursions do you recommend we do while in port? I signed him up for the teen club while on the ship; I just hope he uses it. I don't want him to think he needs to hang with my husband and I all day. I want him to have fun. Any recommendations or tips would be greatly appreciated.
We are cruising out of Port Canaveral and could use ideas on parking. Everything I have read so far says not to park at the port. We will be coming from our vacation house in Cocoa Beach and are considering using uber but not sure how much of a hassle that will be when we return and if it is worth it rather than parking the 5 days we will be gone.

We are staying in 10674 next summer. I was worried about the noise from being so close to the elevator. Glad to hear this is a quiet area.
