  1. I haven't sailed yet but just received word that my upgrade bid was accepted. Now I can't login and am getting that same crazy error.

I can access my booking with my confirmation number, but it only shows the itinerary and nothing else.

  2. Looking for recommendations on a beach in Nassau. 3 adults and a teenager. Would like either all inclusive or available for purchase food/drinks, restrooms, and clean and clear water.  Have previously done Junkanoo Beach & Breezes but don't want to repeat. Pretty sure we've done the Hilton way back when it was called something else, along with a couple other places (but I can't remember). Willing to taxi or walk to beach.

  3. Cheers does not apply to drinks on Princess Cays.

" CHEERS! is not offered on 2 day cruises, charter cruises, on ships sailing from Australia (Carnival Legend, Carnival Spirit and Carnival Splendor) and beverage purchases made at Half Moon Cay and Princess Cays in The Bahamas. " (From goccl).

  4. Also, the people who work at the beach constantly harass you to ask if you’ve already paid to be there (it costs $3.50 per person to be on the beach, and $3.50/person for a beach lounger, not expensive, but also not advertised anywhere). Keep your receipts because they will come up to you every 30 minutes or so and try to charge you again.

    I hated, HAAAAATED this beach.

Good to know about the chairs. Don't know that we are going to Mambo, but this is good to know about the chairs, just in case.

  5. An alternative to shakes would be getting soft serve and adding lemonade, stir and have a frozen lemonade. Or if the kids have bubbles, soft serve plus soda of choice for a float. Not a milkshake, but a way to work within the rules and the kids still have a frozen drink.

    Great idea!!

  6. We enjoyed the ship for the most part. :) Not a fan of the Casino bar layout on this class of ships though. So much smoke (even though part of the bar is non smoking-it's useless to even call it non smoking.) If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask & I'll try my best to help.

  7. I just added gratuities to my next sailing, after the cruise was paid for. I had booked the cruise myself on the Carnival site. I used a GC to pay the gratuities.

As for the prepaid Visa card, my guess is that it would be possible. However, we usually just buy a Carnival GC at the store (& earn fuel rewards) and pay for it with the prepaid credit card.
