Sandwiches and desserts at Cafe promenade and pizza at Sorrentos.

I usually avoid pizza at Sorrentos but after few drinks late night it's the best thing.

I want to thank everyone on this board and this community. I posted several threads and searched old threads and found some great information. I was more knowledgeable when searching for excursions, dining, traveling arrangements and pretty much everything.

Excellent idea.

Getting good at packing light. I took a 2 weeks India trip with a carry on and back pack.

The Uber is not the stress point. The flight is. Will you be checking a bag? Add the time for waiting for baggage to be unloaded and for you to get it.

We will have a carry on and bag pack. We might have to check a big bag but given the tight schedule might have to skip that.

My point was that in their reply RCI couldn't even come to say Indian menu, but said Indian-style, which could mean that you could get Indian-style pizza or a slice of Indian-style bread could be called naan.

haha, I see what you mean. Most likely, some kind of curry dishes and some sides.

well its never going to be truly authentic. Even my local Indian restaurants lack true taste.

Not a lot of leeway for delay with that arrival time. You realize that the cruise line wants you checked-in 90 minutes before scheduled departure. So if you have a 4:30pm departure, that would be 3pm. If everything goes perfectly (luggage delivery, shuttle leaves immediately, no traffic), I'd say the earliest you could expect to get to the cruise terminal would be around 1pm.

 

You may want to consider either changing to an earlier flight or at least booking a private (not shared) car service.

No early flights. I found one direct and that's the best 11:25 am arriving. Others are arriving late 2-5PM so they are no good.

Arriving 1 PM at the cruise terminal might be challenging. I might just have to Uber it. It will cost me $50-60 but will there on time. I will land around 11:25, 30 min to exit, catch a Uber

or wait till 12:30 to get the shuttle.

If I take the shuttle leave 12:30, let's just say 1 pm. Takes 50 min in traffic. I'm aiming to arrive 2:00 pm the latest.

Arriving same day of the cruise. Flying from JFK and arriving MCO 11:25 am.

Was the $75 for round trip?

Yes. So 37.5 each. I might just book Cortrans given the reviews and feedback.

The meals are served based on Royal Caribbean International standard. Additionally Indian-style items are available in the Windjammer Café for lunch and dinner.

RC's shuttle price was $37.50 per person a couple of years ago.

 

I would also opt for a rental car if we were arriving before sailing day.

I just talked to customer service it's 75 each. Yikes, no thank you.

Not sure about renting a car.

I will look into the Cortrans shuttle. We are arriving 11:30 AM. And I see the last shuttle is 12:30 pm. Will that give us enough time to get to the port/check in etc.

Anyone know if they offer shuttle service to the port? If not might have to take a taxi.

RCL is having excellent quarter and year. The stock is high and will keep going up.

It's not just RCL site you will find many sites will not function properly. This might be because of plugins, ad blocker etc. Online marketers are getting smart and want you to remove any plugins that will cause the site to track your movement for analytics.

I usually access using incognito mode on Chrome without any plugins. It works fine.

It will go in my pocket. Like a hotel key card. I don't want to wear around the neck and go for the convention/conference look.

You might via your Roll Call thread - if you subscribe to that and someone announces it in that thread you'll get an e-mail.

Am I the only one that believes the 'test' to have everyone purchase the deluxe pkg if one purchases it is only in play in an effort to increase the potential to 'bundle' products. WiFi is pretty much a free product these days everywhere but yet to get it free on RCL these days, you have to get an alcohol package.

I know it's not apples to apples but you'd be surprised some of the high end hotels are still charging for wifi $19-$24 a day for wifi. Drinks and other bundle products are straight up profit for RCL no wonder stock has gone up since year to date.

Price is not bad, IMHO. I cancelled 2 cruises DX and rebooked recently with VOOM for $54 and 58. It just all depends on ship and date of cruise.

From what I have been seeing, there is no rhyme or reason to the change. My August Allure sailing is still $52 for Deluxe and $56 for Deluxe and Voom. I heard the Deluxe was down to 20% off $46 at one point a few months ago, but I have not seen anything since. I booked the Deluxe and Voom now to lock it in and if it goes down, I'll cancel and book again with lower price.

I missed that $46 offer. I wish we can set alerts. I usually go on my portal once a month.

It does include 1 Surf + Stream.

Doesn't matter, just order now and if the price goes down, cancel and re-order.

Can anyone confirm on pricing and promo offers? I'm watching the prices for few months and has not really changed and at $59.00. We are sailing next month on Oasis and would really like to lock down 2 packages. Not sure if I will see any price reduction.

Indeed. As my wife is Indian we have always requested Indian food per or TA who outs it in our record and they have always made for us, no problem. v In fact in 2008 when we were on the Adventure of the Seas there was a special RCI email address just for Indian food though I am not sure about now. In addition to RCI we have always had this request honored on Princess, NCL, X and Carnival. In fact one of the head Indian chefs on the Triumph I think told us they get so many requests on day one they always put Indian food on the first nights menu.

We are going on Oasis in next month and would love to get some Indian Food.
