Hi,
New cruiser to Oceania having only previously been on Seabourn which is all inclusive.
With regard to alcohol, if we do not take out a drinks package but would like to have a glass of wine with dinner is that charged by the glass? Are the prices reasonable?
If we take a drinks package and would like to have a drink in the bar and not at dinner table, is that also charged as a separate item?
Thank you

Thank you for your replies, I appreciate the input.
You've given me "food for thought" so thanks again,

Hi experienced cruisers,
I would like your opinion on the above subject as I am trying to make an informed choice.
I am considering a Mediterranean Cruise on either of these lines, but unsure which way to go.
We are early 70s, fit and able, enjoy socialising etc.
I value your input.
Thank you

Hi
Originally I was advised that Covid 19 testing was done at the wharf prior to boarding for Seabourn cruises in Europe.
I have now read on the website that the testing is your own responsibility three days prior to boarding?
Does anyone have any experience or information regarding this?
Thank You

Hi
I am booked on this wonderful cruise in July and I am wondering where the ship docks in Venice, Italy?
How do passengers access the ship?
My research tells me that transport is mainly by "vaporetto" or small boats so it may be difficult with luggage etc.
Thank you for any helpful hints and advice.

Hi,
I will be embarking soon on the Seabourn Encore Mediterranean Cruise and wonder about the use of iPad and iPhone on the ship and the costs involved?
Also, is it necessary to make dinner reservations for every night of the cruise? (First time cruiser!)
Thank You

Hi
What time would passengers normally board Seabourn Encore at Rome if the ship is departing at 6pm on Day 1 of a cruise?

Hi
Thanks so much for your valuable reply - we are certainly excited to go on our cruise with Seabourn.. I notice that your photos are of the Encore - that's the ship we have booked on.
I have a very clear idea now fo the tendering process and am confident it will not be a hassle.
Thanks so much again for your reply,
Jo

Hi, Thanks for the prompt reply. I am a first-time cruiser so all a bit of a mystery!

I have booked a cruise that has a tender at three of the ports of call. Will this be inconvenient?

Thank you for the information

Contemplating a Seabourn Mediterranean Cruise in 2019. Is it possible to arrange your own shore excursions either prior to the cruise or on arrival at a port?
Will there be private local tour operators on the wharf with whom passengers can make their own arrangements for tours. This will be in the Mediterranean in July or August. Thank you

Hi Essiesmom,

Hi Ebstam,
Thank you for your reply. There are only two cabins left on the port side and they are both Handicap Cabins. I feel from your reply that this cabin will probably be suitable.
Thank You

Hi
We have been offered cabin 530 Handicap (we are not classed as Handicap) on Deck 5 next to elevator Port side on the Silver Spirit. It is also next to an elevator and one room away from a small bar. Can I have opinions please whether this cabin will be noisy? It is our first time on a cruise.
Thank You for your input.

Hi
Considering taking a Mediterranean Cruise in September aboard Silver Sea Silver Spirit. The room offered us is a Handicap room (We are able to use a regular room) (Room 530) on Deck 5 next to elevator and one room away from a bar. It is on the Port Side. I would be interested in feedback regarding this room from those who have experience with this.
I wonder if noise from the bar an elevator will be an issue.
Thank You

We are exploring the possibility of taking a Silversea Mediterranean Cruise for 11 days in September but have been dismayed at the very high cost. I understand that Silversea is the best Mediterranean Cruise Line, (I have never cruised before). Which Cruise Line would then be considered the second best?

As a first time cruiser - I wonder if you are able to explain how Dining times are arranged? Silversea Cruise Europe.
Thank You
