  1. I think we were in R311 -- which was just underneath the Trident Grill and the tables next to it.....so scraping chairs at all hours of the day. Security has hard soled shoes and must have walked overhead at least 10 times each night. The deck party night was a nightmare beyond all as the room actually seemed to shake with every single footstep pounding on our ceiling from the Lido deck. It wouldn't be bad to stay up late on a cruise but were awakened every morning when the threw the stacks of deck chairs out and scraped them along the deck at 5 AM. They then started replacing the balcony dividers on the deck below starting at 7 AM .... and napping during the day wasn't even an option as there was so much noise from the Lido deck around the pool ... oh, and did I forget to mention, ping pong! yep....no lie, there is a ping pong table up there as well. No exaggeration, this one experience is the reason we no longer will book a guaranteed cabin. My complaint about this cabin was my first post on this site -- kind of got blasted for that -- but have since cruised many more times and have more positive than negative things to say with regards to cruising.

We just got off the Crown and were in R307 and R309. R309 is the first cabin that doesn't have the Lido Deck overhanging the balcony. Since my kids didn't have any issues with noise coming from above, I assume R309 is under cabins/hallway, not the Trident Grill's tables/chairs.
