It is only on cruise days (not land tours).  It is a reliable stock to own, but you will have to do a lot of cruising for it to be worth while.  I've had mine for many years and I am positive I've come out ahead (with OBC).

Thank you.  That is what I guessed, but was hoping for the higher credit.  That land portion in Alaska is costing a small fortune.   We already have the shares of stock.  I submitted the proof of ownership paperwork a couple days ago.

    Yes, and yes.

Can't modify them at the moment, though. Nor can new flights be booked. Our return flight originally departed at 1:00pm, but the ship isn't scheduled to reach Vancouver until 9:15am now, so that's out. Hopefully we can find something better than the flight they moved us to. The 5:00pm departure isn't so bad, but the 10:30am next morning arrival, not so much.

I didn’t even think to check to see if arrival time has changed!  Good to know.  How much time should we allow between arrival and flight out?  I’ve only been on one trip that required air travel in the past 30 years! And that was just a couple years ago for a cruise.  Any advice would be appreciated.

  3. actually I just had to sign in again and the summary change no longer worked.  What worked for me was to go to "book excursions" after logging in.  From there near top click on "boarding pass and travel summary" and then mid page click on  "print travel summary" and there my new room assignment and itinerary shows up.

  4. Found my new assignment using the workaround switching to itenerary instead of summary and then actually looking at the itenerary.  I was so excited about the huge deck on a S4 on Sapphire that I booked it.  Normally I would only book a balcony room, not a suite.  At most, maybe I would have booked the mini-suite.   Like most of you, this trip was already postponed from 2021.  This is a big anniversary trip for us.   I recently looked at comparable rooms on the Royal and did not see that they had S4.  BUT now they show S4 suites.  New room is listed as S4 on the Riveria deck.  Small balcony.  When this irons out, I plan to see if I can find a mini-suite or balcony and rebook.  This S4 is to me very expensive for what it is.  For me- the Sapphire balcony is what sold me on the suite splurge.  Anyone travel in any of the Royal R600 suites who can share any info that might help me make my decision?

  5. I received the email today.  I feel cheated as we had first booked Alaska for 2021 for our 35th Anniversary - and it was cancelled.  After MUCH research, I booked on the Sapphire for May 2022 to Alaska.  Decided to really splurge and booked an S4 in a great location.  I was so excited about the huge deck for Alaska.  I also really wanted the small ship and the itinerary.  I don't have a clue what room they will try to switch us to now on Royal.  I read there are soot issues in the rear.  I guess I'll wait and see what they place us with.  But I really was stretching my budget already and I don't want to "settle" for something less at that same rate.   I'm glad it's not totally cancelled at this point, but not sure if we will go through with this cruise or not.    Depends on room choice and final port selections.  Also visiting both Hubbard and Glacier National Park were big parts of choosing the cruise I did.  So, if one of those goes away, I'm thinking I may need to start researching other choices again.  Sigh....  Just when I thought I our plans well in motion....here we go again...   What do you guys think will be equivalent to the S4?  Whatever option it is, not sure it will be worth the price I'm in for.  That large balcony was a huge selling point.  (First Alaska Cruise for us)
