We have a similar situation where we fly in on Sunday and the cruise begins on Wednesday.  We chose to use Toursbylocals for a full day tour of Athens and another full day tour of Corinth/Epidaurus. 

Has anyone had recent experience with this company as far as how they handle claims?  They seem to have pretty good reviews and their pricing appears to be  lower than comparable policies from other sites.

Thanks for all of the advice.  Flights have been booked.  Can't wait for August to arrive. By the way, Delta seems to have some very good prices to Athens at the moment.

Looking for advice on booking round trip flights from Athens, Greece.  The ship is scheduled to be back into Athens on Sunday, 8/17 at 7:00 am.  The best return flight is at 12:50 pm.  Is this doable in Athens, or is it recommended to wait until Monday to fly out?  We are using points to pay for a portion of the tickets so our options for flights are a bit limited.  Thanks,

We did that same cruise last November. We were in aft wrap 5190. That is now my favorite room on the ship! The balcony is quite large and well covered. We had both bright sunny (hot) days and downpours and we stayed cool in the heat and dry during the rainy times. Nothing is better than ordering room service and eating on the large covered balcony. The room itself is a bit smaller than some of the upper deck mid-ship neptune suites but who cares when you have that great balcony.

It provided great views of the locks as they closed behind the ship.

We were there on Sunday November 13 and ended up taking a customized tour with Gaby from www.sand-and-stilettos.com.

We had a great time. We really had no specific ideas on what we wanted to do so she planned the whole day for us. We weren't interested in spending the day at the beach or in the tourist shops so we took us to a remote national park where we saw the rugged west coast and got to do a bit of hiking. We had lunch at http://www.karaktercuracao.com which is a small restaurant located on the beach. She took us to some remote scenic areas where few tourists ever go. We had some time left over so she gave us a tour of the city and told some stories about growing up on the island. We had about an hour after she dropped us off at the floating bridge to wander around a bit before boarding again.

We will be in Aruba on Saturday 9/12 from 1-11. We are doing the trikes tour which ends about 5:30 and would like to dine on the beach for dinner. Any recommendations on either Barefoot or Passions?

Both seem to have good reviews. Which would be closer to the port and what would taxi fare run to either location. Thanks.

We will be in Curacao on Sunday, November 13. Some of the reading I have done on Curacao indicates that many of the stores and markets are closed on Sundays. Can someone who has visited on a Sunday say if the stores and markets are open, closed or open but reduced hours. Thanks
