Just sailed on the Grand in Jun. My 18th Princess cruise. Horizon grill food has gotten so bad it probably compares to a soup kitchen. I guess they want to drive you to a specialty restaurant and get more of your money.

Many people do like the food on Princess Cruise. But I found the overall quality of food has declined. At the best it is just cafeteria quality. That is the reason they created "specialty restaurant " to get our money. Question is why they make such difference?

The answer is obvious.

Any thoughts?

Sailed on not-so-Grand Princess in June. Food was lukewarm, unappetizing and Salvation Army quality. And taking away trays from the buffet to cut down on food consumption was the final insult. 18th and maybe last Princess cruise.

I got a club class suite on Grand Princess last month. Only advantage was immediate seating at dinner, and separate breakfast at sea. Waste of money. Everything else is the same. This is hype and nothing more. You eat dinner in the middle of the dining room with the same menu as everyone else. The rest of the time you're treated like every passenger who was smart enough to not be taken in. Disgusted.

Got off the Grand Princess Jun 17, 2017. Club Class dining was a table in the middle of the dining room with the same menu and meals as every other passenger!

Just off the Regal. Because we were in a full suite we were eligible for Club Class dining. One good thing was we didn't have to wait to be seated. That was virtually the only difference we saw between Club Class and Anytime dining. If there were any special presentations or dishes offered, we were not made aware of them.
