  1. We booked our cruise last minute and were given "Late Dining 8:15 (Waitlisted)". My wife and I typically eat at about 5:30 and had prefer to eat much earlier in the Main Dining Room. A friend told me that I might be able to change the time when we board. We were given a 1:00-1:30 check in time so we will likely be boarding later. I am trying to find out a way to board earlier. We do plan on eating in the specialty restaurants a few nights. Any tips or recommendations are appreciated! :)

    Thanks!

  2. We just booked a last minute cruise on the Carnival Breeze last night for next month. What nights are designated for Formal Dining? We have only done 2 cruises over 11 years so we are fairly new to the process. This is our first cruise with Carnival. My wife's birthday is on a Wednesday so we were thinking about booking a reservation in the specialty steak house on that night. I haven't found any Specialty Restaurant Dining Packages like we did with RC. I do see where there is a minimal discount for booking in advance though. We are a minor foodies and had rather spend our money on good food rather than expensive excursions. We also booked so late we got the late 8:30 slot for the dining room. I am just trying to schedule a evening dining schedule. I appreciate your thoughts!

    Thanks!

  3. We will be leaving our vehicle with EZ Cruise Parking and they will be shuttling us to what I guess is the RC port site. Once the shuttle drops us off with our luggage is our luggage immediately tagged and left for RC to process or do we have to carry/roll/stay with it for awhile? The reason I ask is it impacts how much luggage my wife wants to bring? lol

Hopefully, I made some sense with my question!

    Thanks!!!

  4. We are considering the Deluxe Drinking Package for my wife. What is the cash limit per glass of wine with the Deluxe Drinking Package on the Liberty of the Seas? I read that it was $12.

In addition, I plan on bringing the 2 allowed bottles of wine for myself. Am I allowed to transport the wine to the MDR or specialty restaurants for myself? I am not interested in RC opening or storing my wine at their price.

  5. No, it's not. The $44 IS the discounted price. It is often $65 on board. $44 is the best you are ever going to do.

Well considering the price has been $44 for the last month that I have been researching this cruise and today I get this email which seemed to me be a new reduction from the previously posted prices, I still believe it was deceptive. Good thing I rarely take anything at face value, particulary when it comes to adverting!

  6. We sail this upcoming Sunday, 7-16, and have already checked in online. However when I go to print my "Guest Vacation Documents" this message pops up:

You have selected to receive your documents electronically, but they are not yet available. You will receive an e-mail when your documents are ready to download.

Should they already be available, might there be a problem or is it standard for them to be available just a few days prior to departure?

    Thanks!!!:)

  7. We are traveling to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. For years I have heard to be very careful when traveling to Jamaica because of the crime. Any excursion we take there will be through RC. I have also heard about the dangers of Mexico but haven't really heard about it extending to Cozumel. I have heard nothing regarding safety at Grand Cayman and wanted some opinons from some of you seasoned Cruisers?

    Thanks!!!:)
