Sorry, wrong post.

You do have the option to buy just the souvenir cup if you so desire...
Nope, I'm glad we can just get the regular glass. Don't need more crap. ;)

Does the UBP include drinks that come in the souvineer glasses when you get onboard. That’s a question from my lovely wife. :)

Good morning all,
My wife finally got her new Passport in and we're about a month away from our cruise. Since she is on our original booking and the only thing we are changing on the booking is her last name, think NCL will give us any issues?
Will give them a call tomorrow, just had late night worry! ;p

Hi all,
We have four cabins booked and I've been given the lovely task of booking entertainment and dining for all four!
I went in to book the Cirque Dreams show. On the first cabin, floor seating was showing for $17 per person. I booked and paid.
When I got to the second reservation, the same date, time, and seating was now showing at $47 per person.
Any clue on the discrepancy?

Hi. We have a group of 8 and 4 cabins.
When booking dining reservation in specialty restaurants, does one cabin book for 8, or does each couple have to go in and reserve for 2?
Thanks!

I'm looking forward to your review since we'll be sailing the Splendida in May. Interested in demographics and your opinion on the ports of call. Were you seated with other English speaking cruisers?
We didn't run in to many Americans onboard. Almost everyone we met spoke English though. It's a big change from what we were used to, but not in a bad way.
I'll include the ports in my review. Almost finished! Rome and Palermo were our favorites.

We just returned from a week aboard the MSC Splendida. We've only sailed with RCI, NCL, and Carnival in the past. We're 30 and from Florida, and have lots to say, but I'm still working on the review. :)
Any questions in the mean time?

Thanks for the review! We board in Marseille next Saturday so are very excited to try MSC (with full understanding it will be much different than our previous cruises).
Any recommendations in Boccadasse? We're planning on having lunch there.

Decisions are made pretty much last minute depending on weather conditions and advice from the Forest Service personnel on board.
We were told of the change the night before.
I was very happy with the Endicott Arm, although I had nothing to compare it to.

Where were you positioned to get a good view?
Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
We had a forward facing and starboard balcony. We were on the forward facing as we went through the fjords and to see the arrival to the glacier. They opened the very front of the ship as well for all guests. It was sprinkling a bit, so there weren't a ton of people out there, but it was definitely the best view. The captain spun the ship a couple times.

Cool.....so close enough to see it calving?
Yes, but we didn't see any. There was plenty of ice in the water. Was fun watching the ship inch through all of the chunks.

Hi- We're sailing July 9th. interested in reading your review. Quick question-there used to be a hypnotist entertainer Brenda Kaye on the Jewel a couple years ago. Is she there on the Alaska Jewel sailings? thanks.
Didn't see her onboard. They had a comedian (Andrew) and comedy/magic (JP).

Did you met any outstanding staff members?
Absolutely!
Jon, the Haven butler, was excellent and always willing to serve.
Christopher, our room attendant, was helpful and did a great job. He was friendly and we always took time to talk for a few.
A majority of the staff were very friendly. I'm still in awe they can do what they do everyday and still keep a smile. I was thrilled when I saw how full the box was near guest relations of cards guests filled out to recognize crew.

Hello!
I am intrigued by the White Hot Party. Did you attend? Do you recall which night it occurred?
Did you use the iConcierge app? If so, how did you use it? Did you use it for onboard communications or just account review, reservations, virtual freestyle daily, and etc.? Did it work well for you?
If you dined at Moderno, how was that experience?
That's all for now... ;)
Thanks,
Sunshine B.
We didn't go to the White Hot this time. It was towards the middle of the cruise if I remember correctly. It was in the Spinnaker Lounge. We've gone before but we were too tired the night it was held.
We did use the iConcierge app a little bit. I thought it was alright! We didn't use it for communication as we knew that we'd be together most of the time and you have to have the app open in order to read or be notified of any messages (so we were told anyway). We mostly used it as our Freestyle Daily and to check charges.
Moderno is always delicious! We ate there pretty late and they pretty much just asked us what we wanted them to bring out. :D
Did you get close enough to Sawyer Glacier to see calving?Unfortunately Sawyer Glacier was cancelled on our run because of a field of ice that was blocking the way. Instead, we went through the Endicott Arm and saw the Dawes glacier, which was still great! I'd guess we were maybe 150 yards from the glacier.

Welcome home! I am in a 2 bed suite in 61 days. Do you happen to have pics of the suite menus? Have they changed like on other ships? Also, any idea who the concierge is in July? Thank you
I'll have to look if I have the suite menu in my hundreds of photos! It did stay the same everyday, and they serve the same menu up in the Haven as they do in Moderno.
I think Bruno should still be there in July.

Hi, love to hear if can recommend any excursions. Thanks.
Hi!
We did:
Floatplane in Ketchikan (Excellent!)
Whale Watching and Glacier in Juneau (Good!)
Train up (sit on left), van back (Excellent!)
In Victoria, we walked to the downtown area. It was a nice day.
We didn't book any excursions through NCL.

Any questions out there?
We stayed in an H3 Owner's Suite on Deck 9. Will post a review later this week.

Just got off the Jewel. We had a H3 Owner's Suite on Deck 9.
Interesting the comments about Roland above. We had him as our butler and had several awkward moments with him. He mentioned a good five times about his gratuity we should give him at the end of the week. I'm not sure if it was because we prepaid our service charge, but we already knew to tip for their services in addition to. Our exchanges with him were just sorta...weird
Bruno and Jon were top notch though. Jon was excellent in the Haven!! Bruno was also helpful, although we pre-booked our dining before we got onboard, he helped us change a couple times. He was friendly and seemed to take the time to get to know us.

Hey all-
Is there a "honeymoon package" that I can purchase? I did a quick search on Carnival's website and didn't see anything.
Are the suites worth it on Carnival? This is a port intensive itinerary so again not positive it'd be worth it. I have a balcony reserved.
Thanks!

I got this reply on their FB page. We're on the 3/15 sailing.
We don't have any updates on this. Unfortunately, we don't believe these two areas will be fixed by the beginning of your sailing. We apologize for any disappointment. -Gabbie
